Mysterion was definitely Clyde.
At the beginning of the episode, Clyde was asleep in class. Why? He was up all night fighting crime.
Hmm?

In true South Park tradition, get the viewers angry via a total unexpected surprise ending.
Personally, the first person I thought of was the goth/emo kid who flips his hair.
I'm really liking this season so far, as compared to the last one. Did you have different writers for Season 12?

Mysterion has to be Kenny or Clyde. The scene where Cartman talk about the Coon Clyde was half sleeping maybe he the one wear that costume? Or maybe it's Kenny........

You can't rule out Kenny or Craig out quite yet...

Most super heroes: Superman, Batman, Captain American, etc., etc., were created by Jews. No, the superhero him/her self may not have been portrayed as Jewish, but their creators certainly were Jewish.
That being said, I still have some time before I see this episode 1302. I could not get the "East Coast" feed to work tonight. So I'll wait. And there's always the SP Episode Player to watch it on.
But to answer your question, callmenikki, how many Jewish super heroes do you know? I know that their creators were mainly Jewish. I hope that helps your inquiry.
Enjoy Episode 1302.

Garrison looked tired too. Cartman wa sboring everyone. Weren't the girls asleep as well? Also, this is before Mysterion appears.
We had a long, line by line, frame by frame dissection of the show on MSN. The majority said Stan.
7/10. Not bad, not great, crap end. If you don't like superhero movies, far lower.
That's how it's down here on the farm!

I was really hoping that it would be Craig. I'd piss myself if it were. I love Craig oh so very much.

it was either kenny, stan, or craig. I am going for Craig.

Re: *1302: The Coon* Post-Air Discussion
Who is the Coon?!?!
Oh, that's right, it was Cartman, like everybody (yes EVERYBODY) predicted. Now, I thought Mysterion was gonna be Butters, but I totally forgot about his classic MO, and I was of course more than pleased to see him back in the classic foil uniform. But no, Mysterion was "F*ck You, Audience," of course, how did I not call that?
I personally love the effing with the audience motif--something that Matt and Trey are BRILLIANT at.
Now for the actual epsiode's content. While it poked fun at the Watchmen/Dark Knight motif of "symbols of justics" and "cleaning up the scum of a town," it bathed in it brilliantly. This is the perfect parody. It parodies the style, it parodies the content, but it still plays like what it's parodying. I, for one, was concerned with the goings-on of The Coon and the identity of Mysterion. All of it was orchestrated perfectly, and it was pulled off very effectively.
I feel like this episode was on par with last week's. It lacked in the biting social commentary, but made up for it with a brilliant plot and a determination to be funny and downright entertaining.
9/10 from me. Serious good work, guys. Season 13 is off to a fantastic start.
