Hmm. Definitely not my favorite out of the season, but being the South Park fan that I am I can't say it was bad. Cartman was PRICELESS, and I absolutely LOVED Kyle here. He was so . . . himself. Self-righteous, smart and IN YOUR FACE.

I was so excited to see a Jimmy episode, and I was a little let down by his part in the whole thing . . . but as long as he was there, I was happy! (Even if there was a surprising lack of stuttering curses . . . :( )

And the Kanye gay fish thing? Need I say how much I was laughing!?

I don't cheer for the title. I cheer for my health.

Pretty good episode! I liked Carlos Mencia's honesty.

I heard that the scene on the Ellen show originally had Barbara Walters asking Ellen if she liked to do the Foxtrot.....

this episode was f*ckin hillarious. well, especially the end. i really wasnt expecting kanye to make a song about being a gayfish.. and the carlos mencia thing was hillarious. "c'mon man..i have no dick mann" lmao!! umm ima big kanye fan & i undastand why yall try 2 make it seem like he complains about everything.. but um it was too much but still funny.

i like how cartmen always had 2 go back 2 his flashback on how him and jimmy came up with the fishsticks joke & in every flashback, it was always sumthin different...dat dragon was rly unexpected..and da jew bots had me dyin..oh & i also how cartmen made fun of how jimmy stutters wen dey were tied up.

wats also funny is how kanye actually wrote it out on the whiteboard about him being a gayfish

Now, the issue is as they go back to their immature plotlines, they don't have that same comedic pacing. Instead of getting lost in scenes due to how many jokes you could pay attention to, you are faced with weak plots and weak jokes. That is what people really mean when they refer to season one- the pace of the show, not what happens.

Well it depends on who's saying it. Some people probably mean it like that, but a lot literally say, "go back to the roots!" as in bring old characters and story lines back. Others also say that the old episodes were more mature and now they're just getting stupid like a giant Mickey Mouse, so I just compare the plots.

As for the comedic pacing... well it's basically just saying the show needs to make me laugh more and the thing is that's so much easier to do in season 1 rather than season 13. People need to realize Matt and Trey can't bring back the old comedic pacing because after 13 years they don't have enough jokes to do that. It makes no sense to just say be funnier in season 13 when you're running out of ideas and your getting old than you were in season 1 when you had all the ideas, no pressure, and you were at the prime of your life.

Don't know. There were some names on the search tags. Maybe Letterman?

No, David Letterman was clearly seen on his own set with Paul Shaffer leading the band (excuse me, the "CBS Orchestra").

No, Big-Will was referring (I think) to the talk show host at the end of the clip, not the hosts we can all recognize easily.

That figures... all of these veteran talk show hosts look the same because of age.
