Simpsonsdidit! wrote:*sigh* I have to say it really looks like South Park has run out of decent ideas. Don't get me wrong I love each episode, but this one just seemed boring and un-imaginative. The premise was a pretty stupid, lame joke and the plot line seemed like the writers didn't try very hard. What happened to the good old days of south park? w=What has happened to the show that I always looked forward to with relish every week?
It's... become intelligent. Gasp!
The most truthful cartman quote.
Actually the joke isn't really that funny ...
But I like the concept thou ...
Had a great laugh at the last part when Kanye sang the "gay fish" song ... LOL
Lovin' this season so far!
I'm watching it over and over
It is not a 12 minute episode, just reload it a few times.
Read the joke a head of time and thought:
"well that is a simple concept...eh"
Then I watched it...
I really liked the places they went with it.
Cartman makes much more sense now.
It was interesting to see how he actually remembers things and how wonderful he thinks he actually is. The Mencia thing was entertaining. I really know very little about Kanye... but it was funny odd. I hoped that fish would eat him, because fish that big have been eating humans lately.
I like Craig in this one:
"Yep.... and if I had wheels, I'd be a wagon."
I agree with Craig,
Jimmy was lucky Cartman only wanted half.
Actually Eric was quite civil in this one.
The most truthful cartman quote.
Kayne has to stop bringing back the 90's, just bc your black and talented, doesn't mean you can bring the mullet back. but his music is bad ass though, but cant song for a bag of peanuts
Carlos mensteala is known to take peoples Mexican jokes and make it his bc he's supposedly Mexican.
I bet you Joe Rogan is loving this episode as we speak
Cartman has a mentality of a 9 year old that's spoiled by his whore mom
Craig is bad ass bc he knows whats up and doesn't like confrontation, i think hes the smartest one from the cast.
p.s.1 i'm a noob on this site too ,i've only posted once,at the begining of the season, bitching that southpark has changed bla bla bla..
but i realised that if you watch the new episodes twice..they look alright..
maybe it's because our lives need the laughter so much and we expect from SP the greatest joke ever..like the fishsticks joke
anyway,whatever we say SP RULES!!
p.s.2 imagine an episode ripping on us..THAT would be AWESOME..just a thought..
Kyle`s interaction with jimmy was good in this the way he told jimmy to stand up for himself was good and don`t let fatass take all the credit for the joke.Cartmans ego "visions" were funny thats the way he really sees things huh,not really heard much of carlos mencia i have seen ads on this site is he really not that funny?.
the only part i did not really like was the end when it was made to look like cartman won and jimmy just got put down when it was him who thought up of the joke though that song was awesome.
Cartman: Line? Lines! I HATE LINES!!!
i like this season so far... but fishsticks is not my favourite episode. and i think we already know about Cartman´s self-delusion from earlier episodes... tough i can´t name an example...
hey, did anyone else get the "carlito´s way"-reference?
I liked this episode. I giggled at the Squirrel/nuts joke more than the fishdicks one though. And more at the wheels/wagon line than either of them.
I loved the whole talk-show... theme? String? Well, I loved seeing them all portrayed South Park style.
And I am glad they finally ripped on Carlos "Butt-hole" Mencia. My hate for him is not so much for ripping off other peoples jokes, but because I find him really fcuking annoying.
I did find the Kanye thread of this one a bit randome, (...*sigh* god dammit will.) but ok.
By the by, quick list...
Worst uses of autotune: Cher, Madonna, Kanye.
Best uses: Daft Punk, ATHF-Sirens, and now South Park.
I got a big giggle out of the way Cartman kept "remembering" the events that unfolded at Jimmy's house. The dragon bit got a " " from me, and the joo-bots/flame-on got a full . Also the way Fatass spun things that had Jimmy doubting himself kinda pissed me off.
I don't get what all the hate is over the "new season", and especially this episode. I mean, how is this one different from... say, Mechastriesand or Chef's Salty Chocolate Balls for instance?
