Hey man, the name of the song is "Bullet with Butterfly Wings" by Smashing Pumpkins. A lot of people also call it "Rat in a Cage" because of its chorus. One of the bands best songs and a great song for the gym.

South Park is big in Japan, a friend of mine translates episodes into Japanese but I wonder if this episode will ever make it here?

This is a serious topic that i don't think is appropriate... yeah some parts made me laugh, but the Japanese are responsible for the deaths of 100,000 dolphins at least every year. I liked the episode and I understand the idea they were trying to put forward (human hypocrisy, that's a new one...) but I don't think they really understand the issue this time around. For example, using the butter is a good idea, trying to make it look ridiculous just doesn't work.

IMO the episode was terrible. Seemed like the "jabs" at the "whale wars" show were too predictable and generic.

Stupid, random topic to do an episode on. And the drawn out phrase "fook yuuu dolphiiiiin" got old real fast.

Actually, I think I'm starting to get the message of this episode (and there's always a message). It sheds light on the hypocrisy and ethnocentric attitude of the US. Our way (slaughtering chickens and cows, both cute and peaceful creatures, albeit not very bright), which is "normal". Of course it's "normal" and damn those Japanese for killing all of those whales and dolphins!

Oh yeah, that human genocide we inflicted on the Japanese 64 years ago. I guess that was a long time ago.

But far be it for the US to criticize them for consuming ocean mammals. Yeah, MAMMALS. As in animals. Non-human species.
