Re: *1314: Pee* Post-Air Discussion
I'm just wondering, but did anyone else think that the pee could represent nuclear weapons?
Re: *1314: Pee* Post-Air Discussion
Yes!
South Park at some of its most ridiculous and over-the-top. Just how I like it.
Seriously, the fact that pee does all that. My theory: Things exploding in cartoons that normally shouldn't is funny. (aka "the Michael Bay Theory") That and people screaming over nothing. Jumping out of windows can't hurt either.
I KNEW IT! I knew they'd find a way to tie in 2012. Not long after the movie came out and interviews started, I knew South Park would have to mention it before all was said and done this season. Is it just me, or did the Cartman song seem shorter the second time round?
I might be alone here, but while the banana end gag was clever I felt it was a weaker tag-on when compared to Kyle drinking the pee right before that. I almost burst into laughter when the helicopters showed up, but I didn't want to wake some people up.
I like what they've done here, but I really don't want this to become yet another episode that local networks rerun ad nausium.
One more thing: I just about slapped myself when I finally realized where the alien was. I'd actually considered starting from the end, but most of their locations were from the beginning. Also, I'd remembered there being a window on Pi Pi's office door. I was wrong.
Best Fall Episode: Whale Whores
Worst Fall Episode: Butters' Bottom Bitch (Incidentally, not an appropriate name for my list which is still in progress)

Hil-f***ing-larious!

Re: *1314: Pee* Post-Air Discussion
complete garbage, not impressed with the openly racist angle for this episode with cartman. worst episode for me ever.

Re: *1314: Pee* Post-Air Discussion
There where some good jokes, but I did not think this episode was that good. "Butters Bottom Bitch" was the best this season.

Randy and the grown-ups impress me most, and Pi Pi kind of remind me about the mayor of Imaginationland.
Too many Cartman and I didn't find his part funny though (Maybe because I am a "minority" myself? XD)
Generally, good episode, but weaker than expected. Wanna give a 6(/10), but considering my lack of interest to watch some earlier episodes, should bump up several decimals.
Therefore, 6.8.
P.S. 1.
Although being a space-filler, Butters still gets more lines than Jimmy. I understand "overuse" now.
P.S. 2.
Kenny gets 3 deaths this season! The highest since he no longer die regularly.

Finding the alien should be a cinch. By Cartman's calculations there are hundreds of them all over the park

Still not sure that I "get" this episode -- I mean, was there some underlying symbolism to the pee, or was it just potty humor goofing around with the different attitudes that people have towards urine and hygiene?
Unlike poop, which is always full of potentially harmful microorganisms such as E. coli even in a normal, healthy person, urine is relatively free of germs, and doesn't provide a good growth environment for most disease-causing bacteria and fungi -- so Stan, Butters, and Jimmy were correct in saying that Kyle didn't need to worry about his health after swimming in the "ocean of pee" and even drinking it. (And there was really no need for him to get his stomach pumped.)
On the other hand, even though urine isn't much of a medical hazard, if it's allowed to sit around for a few hours it starts to get stinky and then downright skunky as a result of bacteria feeding on urea and proteins and other substances contained in piss, and farting out ammonia and sulfur compounds. So for that reason, Kyle is certainly correct to say that it would be really gross if everyone pissed in the pool all the time. But it's kinda silly for Kyle (who's usually more rational) to make a big deal out of people pissing in the shower, since it gets washed down the drain and into the sewer immediately.
Final observation that occurs to me: If Randy had been grinning and saying "more, more!" while the fire chief pissed on him, it would've been (essentially) gay "golden showers" porn showing on Comedy Central!

I don't mind if people call me a pervert...
...but I'd sooner die than be mistaken for a Democrat!

Randy getted pissed on was priceless. Cartman's role was pretty predictable, but the song was hilarious.
I liked the pee humor in this episode. I laughed through the whole thing. This was the funniest episode of the year for me.
But now I wonder how many adults (or those old enough to know better) really do pee in pools.
Because that’s just gross. I'm with Kyle on this one.

i took what cartman said at the end to mean that there was only 3 seasons left
tell me i'm wrong someone

Re: *1314: Pee* Post-Air Discussion
Once again, another episode succeeded in offending large amounts of ppl,
and giving a perfectly true view on something, in this case, peeing in the pool.
i play waterpolo myself, and personally i find it disgusting on peeing in the pool, because you drink quite a lot of water from the pool, while swimming...
congratulations boys! a super final!

No topical humor, just plain old school South Park, just the way I like it

No.

I haven’t laughed so much since Super Phun Tyme

Finally, an episode back to the series' roots

My boyfriend and I were rolling on the floor laughing.
Cartman was great! Just like the old style Cartman was right out of the first few seasons. What away to end Season 13.

And there was a kind of a repeat: remember the episode where Cartman swims in the summer in a pool of pee during summer vacation during the “Summer Sucks” episode back in season 2, number 208?
And Kenny dies! And he is unhooded.
Jimmy has enough problems and now he is barefoot the whole episode; No flip-flops. I thought that was interesting.
Overall, a 10/10 for the season finally. Since I'm at my boyfriends’s house and it’s time to pee, I'll see you in his pool! I feel so much better once I go. And as long as I'm in the pool, join me, and just continue having fun and swim. Everyone into the pool. Now the water’s fine
