So Obama - the genius con, the "world-class diamond thief" we used to know from 1212 - has turned into a dumbski chiseler?! Brain damage done by the White House? (but whatever! who f-ing cares!).
And with all that "smoke and mirrors" plotline it looks like an unnecessary "Mystery of the Urinal Deuce" remake (only the turd is in the punch bowl now).
The videogame is way rad, no doubts about it...

Even funnier was Elin fighting with Tiger. Her Swedish accent was so over the top and it was awesome how she was constantly chasing him around yelling and calling him a mother f*cker and beating the crap out of him with his golf clubs.
The funniest material by far was the scene with the chimpanzee. Holy sh*t I was laughing uncontrollably! The monkey with fistfuls of cash raised over his head running around f*cking everything in sight was insane, and then to top it off his chimp wife comes out in her moo moo and starts beating his ass with a roling pin. Oh man that was the best!
Also loved the way towards the end that one swat guy finally said what we were all thinking, basically "Come on here let's get serious this is just what guys do, we like banging lots of chicks if we can." So then of course Obama and the rest of the men have to kill him to shut him up and keep their sex addiction lie going.

You're a "Republican", the party was high-jacked, sadly. See my sig...

But I know you, you are just moderate, and I think you should fight the birthers and baggers out of your party to save it.

(BTW, Democrats have no spine, they are pussies. f*ck 'em both. I hate the 2 party approach.)

After the first break, the episode switched back to the typical "what the f*ck?"-style plot that has been consistent since at least season seven. It's another episode that makes the adults look stupid and the kids look smart, and involves some sort of supernatural being.
It wasn't all bad, but this approach is very predictable with the show now, and it generally doesn't generate much laughter from me because I know what I'm in for; adults blaming an exaggerated problem on an irrelevant 'being'. Butters' line regarding the fake lips is the only thing that made me laugh.
I'm optimistic, though. At least the first segment was a hit in my book.

Some seem to be complaining about the "Roswell Alien ending." It was the "turd" in the punchbowl. *nudge* Gawww--!
Re: *1401: Sexual Healing* Postair Discussion
I liked how Tiger was never on the show; only the Tiger XBOX game.
No surprises here, except the very, very end where . . . . [I won't spoil it for those who did not see it yet]. I'll just say Butters last lines - I didn't see that coming. [Opps, I gave something away]. Perhaps that is what MnT started with: Butter's last line. That scene raises it for me to a 7/10. Points lost for the Roswell bit and Independence Hall. Points gained for the Chimps and the initial test of the class for the disorder. Obama personally leading the assault lost some points for me. Even in the world of cartoons, where anything can happen (like the Imaginationland triology), I don't buy that Obama bit.
btw, what was the color of the handkerchief the nice lady was holding?

Good opener. One week to go to 1402. We have to wait until Sunday for the preview clip. Only a few days. Can't wait

Right now

In general, the episode is here after it is finished airing in the pacific time zone. So figure out when it's after 10:30 pacific where YOU are, and you're good to go.

The first act was everything I hoped for; it focused on the kids, it was really quite funny and lighthearted, and was paced well. It was a near perfect first act.
The second act had some woobly bits, but the only bad part was the white house scene. A generally solid act.
Act three sucked hard with the exception of the game footage and Butters' line at the end. The way the plotline turned out was quite bad and a waste of an excellent idea.
What was so sad about it is that it had gobs of potential and the first act really seemed to point towards a bright future. Matt and Trey say that they sometimes need to learn to keep things simple- this is an example of when keeping it simple would have unquestionably led to a damn fine episode. Going for the more character based and realistic end game will, more than it won't, lead to a better episode.
7.5/10. Not terrible by any stretch, but sad as it could easily have been a 9.

Probably. But considering how the third act was structured- two game parts, two speeches, plus Butters and Kyle AND the full alien plotline- I think they realized how weak it was and did as much as possible to keep it as 'funny' and short as possible.
Disappointed..
The involvement of Obama didn't really fit in well.. I think they just wanted to show Obama as president for the first time in an episode (aside from the one after election day); but it didn't work, especially because the voice and mannerisms didn't match him even remotely. He just seemed like a generic leader.
The best parts were the monkey experiment and the new golf video game. The episode would've been better perhaps if the commentary were more subtle and less obvious. The end didn't complement reality well and seemed rushed. All in all, a disappointment but I'm sure the season will get much better.
