The censorship was done for comedy. You obviously didn't find it funny. That's all there is to it.

dude.. it wasnt all done for comedy.. you are the 100th person not to check out all the facts first.. when you try to play the ep in the episode player it clearly states it was censored by cc

Like that hasn't been done before? Of course it was part of the comedy, otherwise why would the "I learned something today" speeches be totally censored, and why would they have said Muhammad's name way more times than was necessary for the story? Why would Tom Cruise have got censored?
The censorship was an integral part of the story.

Censorship was part of the episode... if thats what you were saying.. yes you are right.. but a large portion of it was not suppose to be on the show... and is not part of the punch line. It is in the news.. and is expressed on the episode player that they are not allowed to stream it as comedy central added numerous censoring.
me=a hybrid of Tweek,Butters,Cartman,&Kyle!

GIVING INTO AN EXTREMIST SHOWS WEAKNESS, AND OPENS A DOOR TO FAILURE THIS WILL NOT APPEASE THEIR THREATS.

It seems like a lot of people have criticised the bleeps etc in the episode, but whatever the circumstances, they made comedy out of it, e.g. the Tom Cruise ending would have been impossible otherwise.
The thing that annoys me more is the equation with communism - just like Americans have done with Obama's health reforms, it's ridiculous.

As is censorship..And hence the hatred and extremism on both sides..

I hope you aren't serious. If you are serious, perhaps look at the rest of the world or even... a book?

Look at a book? I write books. I have studied history, communism, wars, politics and the like for a decade. I know what I'm talking about. You seem to be quite ignorant.

First off Universal Healthcare is Communistic, because everyone in the community (hence the commu, in communism.) gets something just because they live in a community. So yes Universal Healthcare is Communistic. Secondly, does the United States, or British, or Canadian, or French governments censor the media? (Except for child porn) Yet, China, Cuba, and North Korea does. So yeah censorship is kind of a commie thing.

The only reasoning I could come up with for that is that MnT did it once CC censored the episode to show that they really didn't learn anything.. :lol:

Well that may be the case. But if you ever have kids or grandkids(and here's praying you don't, as I hate seeing the ignorant multiply), if they go to a school, they'll be reading from history books I've had a part in writing, with my spin on current and past world events indoctrinating them. Here's hoping, for your sake, they don't study very closely either.

Sorry to disappoint, but I'm not American. The chances of you writing a book that is read by my kids is very, very low.
Nice work with the "ignorant" comments. I thought Americans didn't understand irony?

Ohh not American? Thank you God! I was worried someone like you might have actually been allowed to vote in the last election.
