I really liked this one. Why does everyone think since they did something different, it's meant to suck?
Maybe they just really like Looney Tunes and wanted to make a funny episode, or pay homeage to it.
It's possible that they had the idea for this before the 201 episode was even aired..because I think they did too good of a job for it to have been done in just one week.

Intervention... Scavenger... i think south park wants to make a joke about modern warfare 2 lol
Re: *1407: Crippled Summer* Post-Air Discussion
Great episode. I loved the old cartoon characters, they even used the buzzard... lol The "Intervention" music coupled with the silly sayings towards the end were hilarious.

There was one kid in there, the one with the wheezy laugh, who I thought might be a parody of Deputy Dawg.

I made this account just so I could say how un-funny this was. The only part that I even cracked a smile was Cartman's rant, which I would've gladly listened to his entire speech rather than the crock of sh*t that the rest of the episode had to offer.
Unbelievably lame; I hope this isn't a trend..

I think that if Matt and Trey had like 1 or 2 more episodes this spring they would have tried to show the most offensive stuff they possibly could to show that Comedy Central are a bunch of hipocrits. Think about it, a shark butt raping a kid with a disability? How is that better than saying mohammed? If I may quote superbad..."Mohammed is the most common name in the world. Read a f*cking book!" Let your balls drop comedy central and take a chance.
Other than that I thought the episode was ok...good send off till October and it allows for everything else to kind of die down after all the bull sh*t from last week.

Everybody, sing!
Are you ready for the summer?
Are you ready for the good times?
Are you ready for the birds and bees?
The apple trees?
And a whole lot of fooling around?

The song was the best part, in particular the Ukulele solo. (The bomb is set to go off on the High F)
