Agree. Just watched it again, was even worse. Just terrible episode trying far too much on many fronts and failing on all.
Bright side is that next one can't be worse.

Dark side is that next one CAN be worse.
There's plenty of symbolism to see. You thinking of something in particular?

Okay, time for a better review:
pros: I loved the rip on the Comedy Awards. While I did not see the real thing I did think the idea a little silly before then. Funnybot's reaction to it and how there was 'no logic' to comedy awards was hilarious! I also loved Jimmy working with the boys as we never see that. Token laughing at Tyler Perry was funny and cute. LOVED Cartman speaking fluent German and trying to sell Kyle out!!!
Who didn't see that coming? And the Germans reaction to being unfunny and trying to tell jokes. Hilarious. I did love the 'awkward!' catchphrase. The ending was great too.
cons: The Funnybot wasn't actually funny. When it opened fire at the audience... not very cool. I guess the problem with the episode was the actual funnybot because other than that it was pretty good.
I am just very happy it did not focus on the crippled kids, nor was it too mainstream and current. It had a storyline that parodied something that happened in RL with celeb appearances, like the older seasons and the boys were all working together. And that was really great.
I give the overall episode... a B- I think.

I love: Stan, Butters, Cartman, Sharon.
I ship: Stan/Cartman <3
Stan: MMOOMM!!
Sharon: What is it honey? (gasp!) My baby's killed again!
Haa, I love that line.

I am from Germany and even I couldn't really understand what they said... I actually needed the english subs to understand the part that HAD subs.
Anyway, I just tried to follow this mess of "german" and can give you this

Cartman tells them that it was a mistake, the award was the idea of a kid(or kids..?) from "special education", and they made the rest vote.
Then comes a part I am totally unable to understand ("Wollen sie endlich ??? sein" is basically supposed to be "Will you finally be ???", I think), and Cartman asks if he can offer them "this kid": He's a Jew, and he's fresh and beautiful.
By the way: Putting sentences into a bad translation-program and trying to read the output without knowledge of the language does NOT lead to dialogue anyone can understand

Funny-ish-bot
There seemed to be a LOT of symbolism and analogical commentary in this ep. Much of which I couldn't decipher.
On the other hand, I could be wrong... Maybe it was really just about a robot telling dick jokes.

But when you have less than a week to make a 30minute cartoon, you sometimes have to cut corners.

Lol Dr. Who!
Haha Funny Bot looks almost exactly like a Dalek except for the top of it...
And omg this episode was still funny..Not as good as the other ones, but it wasn't revolved around the boys really, and that's probably why.
My favorite part was when Cartman was trying to sell off Kyle.
"Oh my lerd. What are we gonna deerr?"

Okay, I want to clear something up. The one who yelled "It's The Germans!" is not a girl, but in fact, a guy. He is referred to as Scarf Boy. First off, his appearance is male. Second, he is probably voiced by Matt.
