Re: *1503: Royal Pudding* Pre-Air Thread
Good call, BW.
I generally like canadian-based episodes in the way that I like Timmy and Jimmy episodes (I don't consider Funnybot one of them or Erection Day. Last one was Crippled Summer, IIRC.)
But IIRC (again), the last Canadian ep was Eat Pray Queef, which I thoroughly disliked. The introduction of the Queef Sisters brought the whole of the Canadian characters down a bit, IMO. The rest of the episodes were great, though, and I think if they stick to Canada as this abstract nonsensical place where cars have square tires and there's only one road (from the preview clip, it looks like they're staying "in canon"), I think this could be a kickass parody.
Ike's involvement is always a good sign.
I wasn't the least bit interested in the royal wedding, so there's probably a bunch of stuff that will go over my head. So be it. Canadian surreality will make up for it.

Re: *1503: Royal Pudding* Pre-Air Thread
what is really needed is an osama bin laden episode. maybe ike doesnt have a birth certificate and donald trump fires everybody? and then we kill osama and egypt and libya go apeshit.
Surprise Ending?
I have a sneaking suspicion that, much like Bin Laden's death stole the royal wedding's thunder and eclipsed its media attention, there will be some kind of Bin Laden (or maybe even Saddam!) tie-in near the end of the episode that diverts attention from the ridiculous Canadian event.

...or not
Re: *1503: Royal Pudding* Pre-Air Thread
Sadly, the problem with that is in last season's New Jersey episode they killed Osama at the end. They could just do what they did with Kenny for 13 years and just bring him back, but who knows what they have planned. Anyway, I can't wait for Wednesday's new episode. I love South Park.

What you saw in Funnybot is all you'll see about bin Laden's death. No need to play it up.

It just occurred to me watching the preview... didn't see all the women wearing hats. Hopefully we'll see really outlandish, stupid-looking hats in the full episode.

Hey, so what do Kate Middleton and Osama Bin Laden have in common?
Last weekend they had their back door blown up by a guy in the Navy.

This.

I love how a poll conducted in the UK showed that like 80% of the people didn't give a shit about the "nuptials".
Oh if only you English had beheaded your royalty centuries ago like a reasonable former European superpower.
