I just felt cheated almost tonight. The plot mentioned the boys were going to help Butters so I thought 'okay, Stan has to be a part of that somehow. Who knows, he may end up being sweet and surprising this week! YA!' But all we get is the boys sitting in the bleachers with all the other students??? What the heck??
I want to give this eppy a lower rating, but it doesn't seem right. But it was effed up and Butters does not deserve this treatment!! This poor kid never catches an effin' break!! I can't laugh at any new misfortune that comes Butters' way. It's just sad. :/
We totally need a Stan episode, but Wendy should be part of the plot somehow too. Stanluv, I know Wendy isn't one of your favorites, but she needs an episode just as bad as Stan. Kenny should maybe get the b-plot and the girls that aren't Wendy should fit in somewhere next week.

Management reserves right to refuse service to Chinese.
1. The Paranormal Activity reference.
2. City Wok and City Sushi turf wars HAHA!
3. And the Norman Bates/Psycho reference at the end.
*I can see now this season truely is the Year of the Fan...but still waiting on a Mr. Garrison episode!
Also, it bugged me for a while but I finally figured it out. There's a great Paranormal Activity spoof that kept coming to mind out of this, but I couldn't remember where it was I had seen it. Then it hit me. It was Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin on last years Oscars.
And yes, the turf war was hilarious. Just them fighting in the restaurant was hilarious. I could've easily watched the sushi bar/prep-station get rebuilt and trashed at least two more times. It just kept cracking me up.
Instead of Year of the Fan, it seems more like Year of the Cartman, with some Kyle and Butters. There's been no Stan episodes, and Kenny's had a total of one line. How about some episodes for those of us who find Cartman annoying, huh? With City Sushi, I was expecting, as per the press release, that the boys would be helping Butters with his problem. Yeah, great twist at the end and all, but it didn't excuse the rest of the episode.
I keep hoping that the best is yet to come. That Kenny's going to have some actual lines, and Stan's going to get a cool episode. I don't know... I can't see what the people who liked this ep and thought it was the best all season actually saw in it.
Alright. I loved the twist at the end, the multiple personalities were amusing. Dr Janus pissing on Butters face was funny, but I was concerned at first there was going to be some weird molestation thing going on there. Revelation at the end was completely unexpected, but beautiful. Though the ultimate ending seemed a bit pat. 7/10.

dryose wrote:Maybe Trey and Matt are trying to get canceled by making bad episodes. This season compared to others has truly sucked. I think all their energy is being placed on their Broadway show. this season has been a total let down when it comes to laughs....I was, well, I am a total SP fan, but this season has truly sucked!!
You too? Wow... if you were really a fan of the show you wouldn't blame the success of M&T's other projects just because you think this season "sucks". Sorry you feel that way. It's not wrong. We all have our own thoughts and tastes, but don't say they're trying to get canceled. They woulnd't have signed on for 2 more seasons if that was the case.
Great episode. Really funny.
I nearly had a fit of laughter when the doctor first started acting crazy. And then the City Wok twist was genius...it perfectly explains why that Kim sounds like a white guy doing a stereotypical Chinese voice--because it is!
Finally an episode that didn't rely on current events. And the whole Psycho parody scene at the end...hilarious!
Can you believe it? Matt/Trey have made one of the most creative episodes since season 11. This is one of the only times I've wanted to watch a South Park episode AGAIN in years.
Brendle wrote:This episode is CLASSIC South Park. Something in Trey's brain just clicked, the way it used to.
I couldn't agree more, good sir!
Cartman: Line? Lines! I HATE LINES!!!
