Haha - this episode could've been written about me - I see the world as sh*t these days!

Also: what a tragically sad episode - it has totally crushed my spirit - the end was sooooo bleak!
It really did make me feel sad at the end.

(I still laughed my ass off too though...) :?

This is a great episode, great story, a unique plot, sensible and humane. As from the beginning, one of the most important subjects in South Park has been the friendship, and is now one of the most difficult tests, the passage of time and the changes it brings. We all get older, and we change, for better or worse, life is a difficult journey, step by step learn to overcome. Life is not easy, and Stan faces a big challenge. Thanks Matt and Trey to create stories like these.

So maybe I just didn't get it but someone tell me sh*t is going to be okay... Like Stan's parents are divorced -- are they leaving the show? is Stan leaving? WTF?

some guys said it accurately reflected growing up but screw growing up... I LIKE SOUTH PARK BEING FUNNY -- i dont give a sh*t what age they are!

maybe I need to watch more older episodes because this one wasnt as funny :?:

thi seriously means there will be some big changes in south park.
this is all my opinion but
the randy sharon talk was about how everything is the same and its getting sh*tty so matt and trey wanna change SP

then the song is ABOUT CHANGES for christ sake!
"Well ive been afraid of changes.
they never permantly change sp

"cause ive built my life around you" all of matt and treys work would be non relevant if it wernt for sp.

"but time makes you bolder" They wanna change.

"children get older" they relize the boys need to change.

"and im getting older too" M&T know they may not be doing this much longer if it stays so stale.

This may be unpopular but it would not surprise me at all if october started with "2 years later" or the boys look or act MAJORLY different.

the fact is if they dont change SP it will be gone forever.
so i take this ep as a good thing.

and p:s do you really think M&T really know what they are going to do. Thats why its unclear if stan is still in sp.
Ahhhhh hamburgerss!

So sad. Stan gets dumped by his friends, and his parents split up. Kyle and Cartman becoming best friends? I saw that coming a long time ago.

What I got from the episode is that Matt and Trey are f*cking sick of doing the show. Can't say I blame them. I'd be burned out too after cranking out the same thing for so many years.

And I'm cool with that.

Congrats on the 9 Tony Awards for "The Book Of Mormon", guys.

I'm gonna go watch Cannibal, Orgazmo, Baseketball, and Team America now.
Let's build a snowman! We can make him our best friend!

Ooh good idea!!

Either way it goes, I'll be happy, more so with a movie finale than anything. If anyone is interested, i've done a write up on this whole thing on my website.
Shamless plug: Read if you dare!

But yeah..amazing episode, as for the show "growing up" and being less knee-jerk comedy and a little more mature, I'd be okay with that too. Take some ideas from some of the awesome fanfics around here. :p
