Also the Capitalist Monster could have a older brother that landed in Germany. It created socialism and its first ad was none other than Karl Marx who created the Communist Manifesto word by word from the Communist Monster. This being is what caused Russia to become Communist with his second clone being Lenin. Then it forced it presence on China and then North Korea and Vietnam and Cuba. It is all powerful and the only one who can defeat it is his younger brother the Capitalist Monster. For you see we are all puppets in an alien game of domination of Earth. What form of government will win?

I don't know what to predict either -- will it be more Blade Runner or The Terminator? Only time will tell. It's an exciting time but there's so many threads hanging it's hard to even guess. I just hope Matt and Trey know what they're doing -- there's certain moments that felt a little like dramatic fluff. ("This goes higher than anyone knows." was said like, twice, for example... but does it really?)
Maybe it's because this season has been very lame. Maybe because Stan has had zero story arches this season.
I feel bad for you whenever it's not a Stan episode because I know you'll be disappointed :( I'm surprised you keep tuning in.
Has anyone said that Dr. Alphonse Mephesto would be behind this all yet?
I would love to see Dr. Mephesto return, but I'm not sure he's behind the madness.

This talk of sentient ads gave me a hypothesis for a possible outcome of what they actually are. Like with the 'heart of Walmart' being the consumers that shop there, sentient ads are people who have been trained (possibly unknowingly) to promote things such as products or ideologies/opinions based on what they are told, rather than recommend something based on personal experience or examine events objectively with established facts.

People who are ads fall into two groups, those that aren't aware that they are, like Leslie who seems to be promoting the town or PC Principal who is promoting PC culture (though it may be dawning on him that he is an ad, and that the PC culture he so fervently supports is completely self-serving and pretentious), and the sellouts, like Nathan who agrees to take over the school paper and the Geico rep who tries bribing then threatening Jimmy (possibly trying to turn him into an 'ad' too).

I wonder if there is a link between the whole ad thing and Kyle being silenced by everyone (including Stan! ) in the first episodes. Kyle has always been the voice of rationality (along with Stan but maybe more often than him), even questioning his own faith in the episode about the movie "The Passion", and people usually listen to him, which in this season only happens when he explains what yaoi is (and yet people eventually believe that T&C are actually a couple. XD)

Generally speaking, in this season we have seen the voices of rationality and reality being harshly silenced and now the ads are taking over.

So if I had to bet two pennies, those would be on Kyle and/or that character hanged in the "Safe Space" episode (I can't recall his name, something like "reality") saving the town.

Also, am I the only one who doesn't dislike PC principal? I mean, i find principal Victoria a bit dull and I don't miss her. At least PCP is funny.
He is the record!

Kind of a late addition here, but does the graphic on Leslie's shirt have any significance whatsoever? For what it's worth, I call whatever it is that's on Leslie's shirt "Buggle". I call it "Buggle" because it looks like an insect and appears to be bugged out. Does anyone else have any therories or perhaps even some insight on the logo on Leslie's shirt?

I've heard that it is the reddit logo, an alien, and a panda. I can see how it is a bug too.

I can assure you that it's not the Reddit logo, this particular emblem on Leslie's shirt actually first appeared in 2005, when Reddit was just a minor fledgling of a webpage.

There's only two episodes left. Pretty sure all or most the answers to these questions will be answered within the next two weeks.

After that the long dreaded wait til September 2016 and Season 20. Part of that is sad, the rest of that is a relief.
Stan and Kyle :)
