Glad I'm not the only person who noticed the Ex Machina vibe here. In fact when she killed the lights and brought up that ad I knew were it was going and that she would betray Jimmy. But I guess most people have never seen it and that doesn't surprise me. While pretty good it didn't get a lot of attention. Very sneaky South Park.VACOOLA wrote:This one has left a strong nutty aftertaste, but at least it wasn't as nutty as most episodes this season. It was pretty damn good, actually, except for the live action montage bits. I hate those. Randy finally got what was coming to him. And while we are at it, I believe it's not Blade Runner they are parodying with Leslie and Jimmy. It looks more like this movie Ex Machina. Have you seen it? Have you heard about it?
I meant that it has the word nude, sorry.Big-Will wrote:She's not nude.
Let me show you something!
The text above the button reads "Click on the link below to access an endless stream of the hottest black porn stars. Additional links to Just Send A Message And Have Sex"
Also I am thinking that Nathan is only raped if Mimsy is in the episode.
I think Nathan should get other new characters to help him be more villainous. I guess they would need disabilities but Leslie doesn't have one yet it appears Nathan is working for Leslie or the ads.
Will there be a new character behind the ads that will appear? I still don't understand how people ads are created. So will there be a base in Vermont or somewhere that is behind it all? Maybe it is a communist plan that Bernie Sanders of Vermont came up with? It could be to make people spend too much of their money to the point they can't afford to survive in America and so making it that Capitalism doesn't work. Sanders is a Socialist Jew so it will be something to see him behind it all.
Nall !!!!!!!!!!!!! Please tell the creators and everyone at South Park Studios to include the Vermont Beer "Long Trail" as I love that beer and miss it as you can't get it in the West Coast.... if the show has scenes in Vermont. Like to joke on them and their drinking and forest life... whatever they like... maybe maple syrup use like a Canadian.
Well Kyle was tricked and taken away by Leslie at the end of Truth and Advertising. Maybe there will be a homosexual scene with Stan saving Kyle? It is not worth getting depressed over, it is a TV show and a comedy so it is supposed to be funny and not emotionally sad. Stan and Kyle will not be enemies after the next episode as Trey and Matt wouldn't do that. You should be able to see the comedy in seeing Stan and Kyle fight. I bet Stan and Kyle both makeup next episode after they realize that it is Leslie and who ever else that is behind all the PC change and stuff.kfgg wrote:I just hope Stan and Kyle can get over this fight, that's all that matters to me right now. There's 3 seasons to go, that's 3 years but I hope they settle this disaster from last week next week. So I can live without the depression.
Can't believe Kyle gave that f*cking ad (Leslie) his last 4 digits. That and I find it hard to believe that he didn't notice that it was Stan that kept noticing that they kept being distracted from what they were doing. And yes, Kyle is scared. Stan still shouldn't have thrown a punch. I guess that was build up. If they just, I don't know apologize and maybe shake hands or even hug each other or whatever something simple I'll be just fine. I'm hoping, and guessing that will happen eventually. It's been a long running thing (Shown heavily in specific episodes, Guitar Queer-O, etc) that those two are absolutely miserable without each other. That seems to have rubbed off on me. I can't explain it. Maybe I should relax awhile but it's not easy.
Like you said, it is comedy. And that didn't ruin the entire episode. There were some fantastic parts in there that had me laughing as I mentioned with Catelyn Jenner going joking with Garrison, Trey's voice for Catelyn "You're such an assh*le" and "I'm not putting that on I'll look silly" and "Buckle up buckaroo!" has been one of the highlights of this season. It actually made me laugh pretty hard.
Noticed how Cartman was all "This is so awesome!" (As they rarely fight)
The ones who showed shock or concern: Most of the girls. Tweek, Craig, Kenny, David, Butters and few others. Everybody else was egging them on.
What is the entire PC story arc if not one huge elaborate prank on us? M&T have been trolling the audience from the very beginning of Season 19. Some more trolling to end it all won't hurt anyone, imo.DanPie wrote:In the last episode South Park is going to actually advertise something, maybe the new game. It's gonna take the ads on a higher level and troll us all...
As for Stan and Kyle, I loved to see them fight. "Don't you dare call me a cartman!" Brilliant! People "worrying" about their little brawl amuse me to no end. Come on, guys, how old are you? 95 or something? In case you have all become amnesic from Alzheimer's, let me remind you that 10-year-olds never kiss or hug their close friends EVER! Nor do they ever hold hands. Those things only happen in dumb yaoi pictures drawn by teenage Asian girls. In so-called real life boys quarrel and get into fights with their "besties" over some stupid insignificant crap all the time. Yet the very next day they play together as if nothing ever happened. I'm speaking from experience here. So yaoi bullshit aside, Stan and Kyle will get over it in no time, unless.....
Have any of you considered the possibility that Kyle might actually be one of "them"? I mean, we all know he is half Jew, half ginger, and half Jersey. What if he is also half ad?? Just think about it: didn't Stan's mom have sex with 2Pac's hologram? If something like that is possible, Gerald might not be Kyle's real dad. Kyle does come across as a human (kite) ad at times, given his weird talent for gay little speeches. Then it's not that hard to imagine him being a hybrid of a Jersey Jew and an ad. At least that would explain why he can be so annoying.
Maybe this is all one big ad for Hulu's new commercial free option.
Ok, i have to say the latest episodes where not so funny (for the standards of south park obviously).
I think the main reason is that the plot is unveiling too slow and it uses too many episodes.
I' ve recently saw all episodes of all seasons AGAIN (i'm a big fan of SP ), and i noticed that usually till season 16 all episodes had the plot centered in the episode itself, with just a little of "ambient" influencing it through all episodes.
It started to change with the 2-3 episodes in season 17 - 18 but now is getting too far.
I always saw south park just like big joke of the actual society, with just "normal people" that react to contemporary situations parodied and taken to the extreme for some "laugh" , mostly about ourself (that we live in the midst of all that).
But with a plot so slow, the only jokes in an episodes are "stupid ones"... funny ok, but how could i say.... simplistic? For kids? The last example is the jokes where they were at the computer and they found themselves being like "ipnotized"... and that joke was repeated at the end.... mmmmmm..... the REAL funny part was that about PC principal and leslie and jimmy, but it's taking too long to develop.....
It seems like there is no many things to talk about (or they cannot, i dunno) but just one and silly jokes for kids to fill the episodes.
I have to say i'm from italy, florence, so maybe there is some part of the cultural jokes that are important and i cannot see... but well, from a big fan this is my POV
