Well I'm glad I could help :D unless that ruins the song for you in which case sucks to be you :?

I couldn't come up with anything for Cartman, not anything worthy at least.

Have you been playing guitar hero 2?
cos that song + sweet child of mine r on that
well there is my trivia for the day...

ANYWAY

Carry On My Wayward Son is ok for stan. it has heaps of different rhythms and the lyrics kind of suit him, but its mainly the vocal tune.
I think there would be a better song for him...
Still searching....
No, "carry on my wayward Son" song will have to do.
But does it not also suit Kyle?

The song works better if one of the parents were dying and it therefore worked as a death bed song.

Carry on my wayward son
There'll be peace when you are done
Lay your weary head to rest
Don't you cry no more

Good death bed lyrics.

Once I rose above the noise and confusion
Just to get a glimpse beyond this illusion
I was soaring ever higher
But I flew too high

Though my eyes could see I still was a blind man
Though my mind could think I still was a mad man
I hear the voices when I'm dreaming
I can hear them say

These don't work when applied to Stan or Kyle. Both are generally successful while these lyrics point to someone who was doing well, but then lost it all. It would also mean that Stan/Kyle would think they are somewhat insane, despite them being logical. The Blind Man line DOES work,. however, as both characters realize their own flaws.

Masquerading as a man with a reason
My charade is the event of the season
And if I claim to be a wise man, well
It surely means that I don't know

On a stormy sea of moving emotion
Tossed about I'm like a ship on the ocean
I set a course for winds of fortune
But I hear the voices say

The first part would mean that Stan and Kyle are just pretending to have these causes they speak of and don't think they're right, ala the wise man line. They do believe in their causes and are wise.

The second part, however, works well.

Carry on, you will always remember
Carry on, nothing equals the splendor
The center lights around your vanity
But surely heaven waits for you

Carry on my wayward son
There'll be peace when you are done
Lay your weary head to rest
Don't you cry (don't you cry no more)

The first part works in some ways, though neither character is vain and therefore that line would bare little consequence. Heaven does wait for them though.

This song works very well for Randy though, as it is written as a father/mother talking to the son.

STAN- I don't think lyrics will ever match up unless a song is about one particular subject with no room for interpretation. So I was more focused on the tempo, and mood of the song.

KYLE- I know Carry On fits Kyle, I just find that Sweet Child fits him better, but thats just my opinion.

KENNY- My brain tells me "Don't Fear the reaper", but my heart tells me "Last of an ancient breed" the theme song to the movie The Warriors... I will Listen to my heart :D

Still got nothing for cartman.

I dunno about when they were together, but I know "Dazed and Confused" kinda fits their break-up.

I can't think of a good song for when they were together, but 'ShaneHaughey' is right, Dazed and Confused would fit their break up. I was also thinking 'Hysteria' by Muse. It's a song about being obessed with someone after a break up and wanting them back badly, Hence these lyrics taken from it....
''Cause I want it now, I want it now. Give me your heart and your soul''
If anybody does know any other songs that could fit their break-up or realation-ship please say.

In other news, I've given up on cartman. The best I could do was Rock You Like a Hurracaine(sp?) by the Scorpians, meh. :?

If Cartman ever became a boss at a diner, Nice Peter - I Quit You Fat Mother f*cker would be the anthem for the people working for him.
Stan and Kyle :)

I don't know why nobody else thought of this. It fits Cartman perfectly:

You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch

Author: Dr. Seuss

You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch.
You really are a heel.
You're as cuddly as a cactus,
You're as charming as an eel.
Mr. Grinch.

You're a bad banana
With a greasy black peel.

You're a monster, Mr. Grinch.
Your heart's an empty hole.
Your brain is full of spiders,
You've got garlic in your soul.
Mr. Grinch.

I wouldn't touch you, with a
thirty-nine-and-a-half foot pole.

You're a vile one, Mr. Grinch.
You have termites in your smile.
You have all the tender sweetness
Of a seasick crocodile.
Mr. Grinch.

Given the choice between the two of you
I'd take the seasick crockodile.

You're a foul one, Mr. Grinch.
You're a nasty, wasty skunk.
Your heart is full of unwashed socks
Your soul is full of gunk.
Mr. Grinch.

The three words that best describe you,
are, and I quote: "Stink. Stank. Stunk."

You're a rotter, Mr. Grinch.
You're the king of sinful sots.
Your heart's a dead tomato splot
With moldy purple spots,
Mr. Grinch.

Your soul is an apalling dump heap overflowing
with the most disgraceful assortment of deplorable
rubbish imaginable,
Mangled up in tangled up knots.

You nauseate me, Mr. Grinch.
With a nauseaus super-naus.
You're a crooked jerky jockey
And you drive a crooked horse.
Mr. Grinch.

You're a three decker saurkraut and toadstool
sandwich
With arsenic sauce.

Touche
As if you could be bothered writing all that, let alone looking it up, but well done. You should be proud. You have time to do that. And i like it! :P
But the Grinch turns good, and Cartman, well, time shall tell.

Or not. :D
