Wendy's very insecure, that's why she tries to hook up with a boyfriend.

They still don't have the 'hormones' to actually feel love because they are still 8. They just like the 'idea'.

That's what made it kinda cute. Their love was innocent, undriven by a desire for sex. Love at that age is uncommon due to a lack of hormones. Luckily, we'll never have to see them as horny teenagers. (Like I'm one to talk about sex drives.)

If I wanted to see some overdramatic teenage relationship, I'd watch some of the sh*t on the WB. Hell, I don't even need a TV, I can just eavesdrop on some high school conversation.

I don't see Wendy getting a boyfriend because of insecurity. I had my first boyfriend in third grade, and I was a mushy lump of puppylove the whole time. I wanted a boyfriend because I had a crush on him, and that was basically it. D: We were going to stay together forever and have babies because damnit I "loved" him.

Wendy doesn't seem TOO insecure, at least not compared to the other girls. She questions authority and society, and really only conforms because, well, she's a little girl and they travel in packs. Even when she was trying to be a Stupid Spoiled Whore, her outfit was VERY tame compared to the other girls.

I dunno. :[ She doesn't strike me as very insecure at all, especially for an eight year old girl.

What I mean was:

She dosen't have the "sexual" urges to fall in love. Just plain childish "crushes".

I think that Stan and Wendy wasn't really lovers... I mean c'mon!!! Stan never actually "kissed" Wendy (SPM was different, Wendy kissed Stan) because of his nervousness. And Wendy did not feel any "Sexual Tension" between them, unlike in the case of Cartman.

Wendy DID kiss Stan, in the South park move ,bigger,longer,and uncut, and it is just childish love but it was real, its not like they never did anything for each other

Well, yeah, Stan was too nervous to kiss Wendy, though Wendy did manage to deliver a kiss to him at the end of BLU as well as in the song It Happened in Sun Valley. (Stan threw up in both cases.) The only time we ever see them share a real kiss was in Flashbacks, and that doesn't count. :P

...at least they got to hold hands in Chef's Salty Chocolate Balls. I had that in my sig for a good while. :)

lol yup they did rarely kiss, of if they tried too stan would throw up and kinda ruin it. lol thats probably in BLU, Wendy just goes right up without stan even noticing and kisses him before he has a chance to throw up on her
