Character Theme Songs

Postby CruciFACTION » Mon Apr 16, 2007 11:36 pm

This has been discussed on and off in various threads, so I figured it should have its own topic. heres what I got,

Stan- Carry on my wayward son, by Kansas. Though the lyrics may not exactly fit, I feel the mood of the song fits him perfect.

Kyle- Sweet Child of Mine, by Guns 'N' Roses. Fits him nicely, and G'N'R is always a good choice.

Kenny- Don't fear the reaper, by Blue Oyster Cult. This is more of a place holder until I can find the song I really want.

Tweek- Don't Talk to Strangers, by Ronnie James Dio. I posted a link to this song in the official Tweek thread, so go see for your self.

Thats all I got, this isn't restricted to the characters above though, hell, you could give Sparky a theme song if you want. But if you choose a song thats not on the radio alot, or is not very well known, then see if you can find it on youtube and post the link.

I dunno about Carry on my Wayward Son...but then again, I don't have a better suggestion. The mood is great as long as you don't really listen to the song, which is actually more of a warning than an upbeat one.

Timmy- Ridin' Dirty

I think somebody else mentioned that in another thread already.

EDIT: It was BRMbug. Here's the picture:

This song always reminds me of this dude. The song lyrics gets very dark at the end (I don't think he would go that far, hopefully) but much of lyrics seem to match the way he feels sometimes.

Butters: Trivium - Rain

Every time I'm left alone
My misery begins to drown me
Tied by a rope of anxiety
Thrown overboard

As I'm pulled under the tides of this fast paced world
I refuse to see

[Chorus]
Time will always be the thing that kills me truly
Open these eyes waking from a dream feigning

My lungs fill up with letdown
Disappointment in self and everyone
Expectations died in failure
abandonment my unsavior

As I'm pulled under the tides of this fast paced world
I refuse to see

[Chorus]

Absolution at the sight of your demise
I know what I must do
Choke
Die choking on your every word

Swallow every blasphemy

Absolution at the sight of your demise
I know what I must do

Swallow every blasphemy
Eat out your heart and make it bleed
Tie the noose around my neck
Make this life end

I just listened to that song, and I think its a little to mellow to be Tweeks song. But I'll post it and my choice so the peoples in the streets can decide for themselves.

I couldn't find an official music video for Don't Talk to Strangers, so this weird AMV will have to do.

I always thought of Wendy whenever I listened to Sweet Child o' Mine (namely because of the use of feminine pronouns). Great song either way though. :D

I found the song I had in mind for Kenny! Ofcourse, I haven't heard in a while and upon listening to it again, I find it really dosen't fit him at all, but I don't care this song is awesome!

Hard to believe we haven't come up with a possibility for Cartman yet! Maybe...

More Human Than Human--White Zombie (at least in his own mind)
