Stan should move to...

Postby The Silver Banana » Thu Jun 16, 2011 10:22 am

The stupidest city in the country is Las Vegas, which I believe was only spoofed in It Hits the Fan. I think the place has a double standard, since there's no legalized hard drugs, no gay or lesbian marriage (someone ranked Vegas the 3rd gayest city in the country, and it's done nothing for gay rights in return), and they're starting to get rid of prostitution. So, yeah, Vegas is stupid enough to give up its sin industry. And Nevada schools are ranked about 48th in the country.

He could just be moving to the other side of town, of course, but I'm looking for something interesting.

Edit: As long as he comes back by the end of the season.

Edit again: That is some genius adware on this site.
It's not pedophilia if they should be your age by now.

It's true...Las Vegas is a fairly stupid city. But politics and law aside, the people aren't so bright either.

But it's not the stupidest city.

Anyone who lives in California, and many people outside the state, will tell you it's Fresno. Sure, F-Town doesn't get nearly as much time in the spotlight, but that's not just because it doesn't have tourist attractions or bright lights and glamourous hotels and casinos. It's because it doesn't deserve to.

But gets better. Even corporations realize how stupid Fresno is. This commercial drew laughs from nearly everyone who saw it, and criticism from absolutely nobody...except from Fresnans:

Welcome to the Inland Empire, just a few hours' drive away from the smartest places in America - the San Francisco-San Jose Bay Area.

Damn, they measured Oakland with SF and SJ and they STILL got top ten status?

On that note, why include SF, SJ, and Oakland together? This isn't a network TV market which serves multiple cities. lol Besides, SJ has 1 million people, SF has about 750,000 people, and Oakland has about 500,000. Aren't they big enough to be done separately? Maybe they are too close, like NYC include its' boroughs in these kinds of things... Hmmmm, oh well, Stockton got last place in literacy, though. >_>

Looking at one of the links in that article:
With a score of 54, we finished one place behind San Jose and Las Vegas (both 55) and a little further behind Portland, Long Beach and the No. 1 city, San Francisco. According to WalkScore's calculations, our Central, Fresno High and Hoover neighborhoods scored the highest.

SF, walkable? My f*cking ass. One would rather walk than deal with the traffic there, but no way is it easy to walk up and down them f*cking streets, unless you don't leave the neighborhood and that neighborhood is relatively flat.

Oh, and watch out for the hobos. They are everywhere. I'm sure Niels can vouch for me here.
I have been here since January 2005 with another name. I have seniority. (.__. )

Plants stuff their pollen everywhere, all those kids who get allergies because of pollen have plant sperm in their lungs. Flowers deep throat kids :I

Denver. It's nearby. He could come back every once in a while. Then again with how much international travel these kids get upto he could move to Bejing with one parent and be back to colarado with the other at the weekends.

Something had to be stupid to equal out the smart of SF =/

St. Louis, it's where I live. XD
But what if the move was just overdramatic-ness and he just moved to another street in South Park? LOL
