Animation Shift?

Postby LawrenceTaylor » Mon Aug 18, 2008 2:32 pm

This is kind of a silly question, but since the start of season 12, I've felt like maybe they're using some newer equipment again. The animation moves even smoother and the resolution seems even a teensy bit sharper. But maybe its just the character brought by a few new animators. Or a better export setting.

Has anyone else noticed this too? Or am I insane?

In general the animation seems to have gotten better year by year,
but you're right they are probably making the episodes in higher resolution -
even though good times with weapons & imaginationland are the only ones that have been broadcast in hd,
I have a feeling they've been making every recent episode in hd (south park in blu-ray would kick ass ^_^

Can't have standard definition when everyone is moving to HD TV, right?

cool I was right.
I suppose it makes it easier later on to already have the HD ones, even for non HD broadcast.
