Is South Park, Colorado subject to copyright?

Postby GforGoomba » Tue Jul 03, 2018 3:21 am

South Park has become so popular that the actual place has become less and less recognized and may eventually be subject to copyright against South Park.

The actual place is a tourist attraction in Fairplay, Colorado. It's something of a ghost town, recreating what a Colorado town was like 140 or so years ago. As such, it doesn't have much in common with the town depicted on the show, so there's not much to copyright.
