20 Years Later

Postby Total_Beefcake » Fri Aug 11, 2006 7:57 pm

You may recognize me from my other fanfics, When They Moved In and The Biggest Love Triangle You Could Ever Read About! *Co-written by DevilAngel16*. This is a new fic I'm doing. If this has any resemblence to anyone else's, that is purely coincidental and I have not copied anyone. Enjoy! :D

Chapter 1

South Park was still the same place, with the sun shining, the grass green, well, under the three feet of snow I mean. However, those living in it were not the same as so many years ago. With summer crisp, and fall so cold, the boys had grown somewhat old. Don't worry, not that old. 20 years had passed, and the four boys we know and love had turned into four men that I'm sure you'll love. Here's their story.

Stan Marsh, the athletic, popular young man from South Park Elementary, was now a twenty-eight year old, married to Wendy Testaburger. After an on-and-off relationship through highschool, the two had finally gotten together for good.

They had an eight-year-old daughter named Maura, who was the spitting image of both parents.

It was the beginning of the week, and Stan would recieve a letter that would really rock some chairs.

He sat as his desk in the hospital, looking over a calender.

"Hmm," he mumbled, his eyes traveling over what he'd scribbled down last week, "Breat ogmentation for Lizzie Lee..."

He loudly popped the gum he'd been chewing for the past few hours. The flavor was quickly disappearing. Stan was now working at the hospital, despite that he'd been deathly afraid of it as a child. He was now a specialist in the body implant field. As he rubbed him neck sleepily, his secretary came in.

"E-excuse me, sir," she stammered, "You've recieved a l-letter!"

Stan smiled, taking the envelope.

"Thank you, Miss Cutswald," he nodded to her and she hurried out.

He grinned and glanced around, then tore open the letter. He unfolded it and then began to read it.

Dear Stan Marsh,
Whats going on, dude? I haven't seen you since we graduated college! Its been about six years, huh? I was thinking about getting the group back together for a big reunion. Sounds great, right? I'm sending letters to Kenny and Cartman and the rest of the guys. I can't wait to see everyone, and all your families. I'm sure you want to see Nate again, and little Kayla in person instead of on the Christmas cards I send you. I'm staying for a week! I hope to see you soon.
Your friend,
Kyle Broflovski

A big smile was stuck on Stan's face as he reread the letter. Kyle was visiting! After college had ended, his Jewish friend had moved to California in hopes of getting better jobs and fortune. Stan got up, grabbing his coat and bag.

"Bye Rebecca!" he called as he hurried out.

Eric Cartman, annoyed, watched his daughters trample through the mud at the park. The two were seven-year-old twins, having lost their mother when they were three. Being a single father was tough on Cartman, so the three were currently living with Liane Cartman.

"Shiloh! Carmen!" he barked, "Lets go home!"

The brunettes, a bit pudgy, groaned.

"But da-ad," they both whined, (You could tell they were Cartmans).

Cartman glared, showing no mercy.

"We're going," he growled, and the three headed for home.

They arrived at the Cartman household.

"Hon!" Liane called, holding out some mail to her son, "A letter is here for you, poopy-kins."

Cartman stuck out his lower lip.

"Maa-aam," he whined, "I told you not to call me that!"

"Sorry, hon," his mother shrugged, handing him the letter.

Cartman ripped it open, reading the print.

"So, Jew-boy is coming back to town," he murmured, "Hehe. YES! YESSS!"

As he chuckled viciously, dancing around the room, his daughters stared. They were worried for their father.

Meanwhile, in a run-down old trailer, Kenny McCormick sat on a beat-up old couch with a cigerette in his hand. He looked through a Playboy, bored.

"Kenny!" his southern-accented girlfriend called from the kitchen, "Do we have anything to eat?"

Kenny sighed heavily, flipping a page.

"We will when I get payed," he moaned, inhaling from his cigarette.

Kenny had never graduated from highschool, destroying opprtunities that he could've grasped in a second. For now, he was between girlfriends and trying to find a better job. Red came in.

"I'm goin' out," she said, "Check the mail, wouldya?"

Kenny shoved the magazine under the couch and got up.

"Yeah, yeah," he coughed as he went outside.

He watched her get into her car and pull out, driving down the street.

"Lazy bitch," he mumbled before dropping his cigarette and crushing it under his worn-out shoe.

He pulled out the mail, seeing many bills and a pleasent looking letter. He dropped the bills, and after a few moments of observing them fluttering down the street, he opened the letter.

"Kyle, huh?" he asked, grinning and shoving the letter in his pocket, "Cool..."

Kenny lit another cigarette and went inside, deep in thought.

Kyle arrived in South Park Airport, overwhelming with joy and nervous-ness. Bebe, his wife, was walking next to him as they picked up their luggage. His two kids, Nate and Kayla walked behind them.

"Hurry up, kiddo," Kyle told his daughter as she hung behind, looking at everything.

Nate stayed close.

"Dad," he piped up, "I've learned something today."

Kyle grinned, answering, "Whats that, son?"

"Stewardesses aren't that nice," Nate frowned.

Kyle threw his head back and laughed heartily.

"You're just like your father," Bebe giggled, tugging her four-year-old daughter along. Nate was eight.

Kyle scoffed, laughter in his voice, "I resent that."

The four started for the Broflovski house, excited.

WHOO, that was long. I hope you all like it. Please read and crit! :D

Hey Jori! This seems like it's going to be really good. That was a good first chapter.

Hehe...Cartman still lives with his mom. XD And he has two daughters? Those poor girls.

That's cute that Stan married Wendy and Kyle married Bebe.

And Kenny...*sighs*

Anyway, I can't wait to read the next chapter! They are all going to be reunited! ^^

And here I was, hoping that 20 years later Kenny would have broken out of the pattern of bad habits that condemned his own parents to poverty. Oh well.

The rest of the boys, you say? Like Butters (who I'm guessing either still lives with his parents or is in prison XD)... and Tweek (who might be completely rehabilitated and is as calm as his dad?) and... hehe... you know...

Nice story so far, BTW! Especially how Rebecca is a secretary and Cartman is a single father (you'd think he'd still be a virgin, actually.) And interesting how kenny is still poor and is also a single parent. I'd love to see more!

Chapter 2 is finally here! Now, this was a hard one to write. I hate to admit it, but I started crying as I wrote at one point. I hope you enjoy.

Cartman stood, daughters at each side, at the Marsh's door. He took a deep breath, and as he was about to knock, he heard a voice call his name.

Cartman turned, staring at the person before him. An old orange t-shirt, tore up jeans, messy blonde hair. It could only be...

Cartman grabbed Kenny's hands, shaking them cheerfully as he observed his old friend.

"Whats been goin' on, man?" Cartman smiled, "I haven't seen you in forever!"

Kenny grinned, hugging him tight. Cartman's nostrils were filled with the sour smell of cigarette smoke and alcohol. He pulled away after a few seconds.

"What've you been doing with yourself?" he asked, patting his back.

Kenny shrugged slightly.

"A little of this, a little of that," he said, then gave Shiloh and Carmen a lopsided smile, "Well, lookit you two. I haven't seen you little boogers since you were babies."

The twins giggled shyly, their round faces turning a light shade of red.

The door suddenly opened.

A small black-haired girl stood there.

Kenny glanced down at himself.

Stan hurried to the door.

"GUYS!" he said, throwing his arms around his two buddies.

Stan scanned the two of them.

"Man, I haven't seen you two for a long time!" he sighed, hot tears burning his eyes, "Not since the...the.. f-funeral.."

His expression was grim as he looked towards Cartman.

"Y-yeah," Kenny replied, brushing his fingers through his hair.

Cartman stared at the ground, remembering...

"What do you mean..." Three-year-old Shiloh began, "....Mommy won't be here anymore?" Carmen finished.

Cartman's face with stained with tears as he tried to explain death to his toddlers.

Kyle came up, putting his hand on Cartman's shoulder.

"I'm sorry," he whispered, his voice shaky.

Cartman shut his eyes, pursing his lips. Several tears rolled down his cheeks.

Kyle hugged him tight, also crying. The two were much closer now.

Stan came up, clad in a black suit. Wendy was at his side, four-year-old Maura in her arms. Stan snaked his arms around his two friends, trying not to cry. He couldn't help it, however. The person they were all mourning for was very close to all of them.

Kenny sat silently, not too far away. He had a somber look in his glassy eyes.

"I can't believe this is happening to me!" Cartman choked as Stan and Kyle led him to the pews to sit.

Sharon and Randy Marsh sat near them, crying softly.

At the front of the church sat a coffin with a picture on it. On the photo was a beautiful smiling girl. She had light brown hair, lovely blue eyes and straight white teeth.

Cartman took one look at the picture and lost it. He bawled at the top of his lungs, clinging onto Kyle and Stan for dear life. Stan gritted his teeth, clamping his eyes shut. Kyle's face was buried in his hands.

Kenny hugged himself, crying uncontrollably. A priest came up behind the coffin on a podium.

"Dear family and friends," he began, "We're all gathered here today to mourn the loss of our beloved Shelley Cartman..."

Cartman shook his head, sick of the terrible memory. Stan squeezed his shoulder.

"So you guys wanna head over to Kyle's?" Kenny asked, rubbing his cleanly shaven cheek.

The others nodded and packed up their families. It was off to Kyle's house!

The guys drove up, finding two familiar faces conversing outside.

"Well hey, fellas," a blonde southern-accented Butters grinned, toddler sitting on his shoulders.

Spiky-haired Tweek twitched violently.

"Hey g-guys! ACKK!" he screeched.

A little blonde boy stood by his side, staring worriedly at is father.

Another pair came up.

"'Ello, mates!" Pip cheered, Damien's arm wrapped around his waist.

Damien gave the boys a small wave as they approached.

A few more guys, such as Craig, Clyde, Toiken and a couple of others showed up soon after. The group excitedly went up to Kyle's door and knocked, chattering anxiously.

After a moment, the door creaked open.

End of this chapter! I hope you all enjoyed it! ^^

Chapter three will come soon!

It figures you'd pair up Cartman with her, considering that she's probably the only girl who would ever be able to put up with him, and she did seem to hit it off with him at the end of "Cat Orgy".

Oh and by the way...
"'Ello, mates!" Pip cheered, Damien's arm wrapped around his waist.

Couldn't resist throwing that in there, could you?
