I can't get my head around why so many people make a big deal about slash. Everyone has their preferences when it comes to fanfiction. It's just for fun, for enjoyment. It's nothing serious. You can dislike slash, but acting holier-than-thou because you have different fandom interests is just obnoxious and silly. Don't like, don't read. There's plenty of stuff out there that squicks me, but I just think, "It's not for me" and respect that others will like it and that it's perfectly fine for others to like it. Different people, different opinions.

And to answer the OP: My favorite South Park fan-pairing is Cartman/Kyle. I find it hilarious and intriguing. The dynamics of their relationship is very interesting.

South Park fanfiction indeed isn't yuck or grose or disturbing. 4chan; /b/ is. All guys who have visited that site more than 1 time, are losers. Take that, dudes. Child porn is waaaaay more grose than the stuff fanGIRLS read/watch. Okay, yaoi is porn too, but it's not as grose as the pics on 4chan.

Carefully I drew the curtains shut. I looked around, and quietly reached into the depths of my closet. I felt around until my hand found a book. In a flash I grabbed a pencil and retreated to my bed. A wary glance around the room, and I cracked open my journal. "Dear diary" I began "today I almost let my guard down. There he was in class, just a few seats away, so close and yet so far away. His green hat, sexy brown eyes. Then he noticed me. I was so scared I almost couldn't say anything, but managed to whisper 'whatch looking at you god damn jew?'. I saw the words take their toll on poor Kyle, but little did he know it hurt me so much more. I should probably avoid talking to Kyle at school for the next few days, though those brief words exchanged seem to be the only light in my life. I think I might see him tonight, though I need to be quieter, last time I made a bit of a ruckus opening the window and he almost woke up. Oh well, I shall have to cherish these moments together.
