Info on South Park "Sorry" game?

Postby Indigo Rose » Mon Oct 22, 2007 7:51 pm

I don't know how it happened, but for some reason my sweet little old grandmother (who lives in a tiny town in Switzerland, has never been out of the country, and has no idea what South Park is) has a copy of the board game "sorry" that uses South Park characters and a South Park board. I haven't seen it anywhere else, but it looks completely legitimate. I was wondering if anyone else had some information about the game (which has quickly become a favorite among me, my brother, and our cousins when we visit our grandmother ^^;)
"Now Kyle, don't fly too close to the sun, or it'll burn your wings, an- and you'll crash into the ocean!"

(Awkward silence)

"Butters Goddamnit!"

It’s real. I don’t have much information on it but I remember members of the old collecting South Park forum talking about it. Maybe one of them can come along and give you a little bit more information on it. But it is real, I don’t remember if it’s called “Sorry” though. It’s the same exact game but I think it’s called something else in other countries.

That's cool. I've only seen the chess set, so yeah...don't ask me for information on that kind of stuff.

I'm leaving you today
Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye...

Goodbye, all you people
There's nothing you can say
To make me change my mind...
Goodbye...

The last time I saw any in stores was about a year and a half ago. They were at Fry's Electronics, Spencer's Gifts, TJ Maxx/Ross/Burlington Coat Factory (one of those places) and Virgin Megastore.
