1997. Every teenager of the late 90s snuck and watched the show while parents bristled at the idea of a cartoon having actual curse words and lots of toilet humor.

I actually started enjoying it a few seasons later when M&T learned how to write engaging stories rather than the random Monty Pythonesque format of those first few seasons.

1996, when it was still being shopped around as a pilot. I saw "Jesus vs. Santa" on Spike and Mike's Sick And Twisted Festival of Animation at Laemmle's Sunset 5 (which is a different theater now). I told my best friend then that that short was going to be a TV show, "just you watch." And lo, it became a TV show.

I saw "Jesus vs. Frosty" on a UHF channel the following year, in March. That was the short that was supposed to have shown in '96 at the theater.

The first time? Early 2000-something. The second time? 2006 maybe. The time that actually got me hooked and obsessed... late 2009 or so. This time I will not set it aside, I am a fan for life!!

Since I was 5 years old...My cousin had gotten Bigger Longer and Uncut on VHS and I was at his house and so I decided to watch it with him..my aunt said "make sure she dosent see it" But he let me and I was hooked..my cousin was obsessed with SP when it was in "its prime" if you wanna say that...He had shirts, and all the plushies up to date in the early early sp years...and I got the obsession from him..when I was 7 I had a TV in my room and stayed up late (Even on school nights) just to watch SP! Even though I did not understand the jokes it was the best thing ever to me. I'm still sickly obsessed with SP to this day.

It came out in August 1997. I think it was August or September of 1997 when I first saw it. I was 10, I had a TV with cable in my room. It was funny, I loved it. I wasn't really a regular watcher of the show, although some of the early episodes thru 2003 really stood out.

In July of 2003, they played BLU on Comedy Central for the first time. I was 16 at the time, and had been watching it at night with my sister in the months before. The movie really just set me up to be a regular viewer and full blown fan since then.
