I think that's a really good idea. It's the only way it would be acceptable in the canon, IMO. Pip was missing in action for half the series' life until that point, and it's safe to say they brought him back just to officially kill him. After all is said and done, there's no point in bringing him back.

The reason: Even though M&T don't like the character, and it's their show, my opinion is that I have always liked Pip, and that episode he was in, "Great Expectations," got me to read the Dicken's book by the same name and I enjoyed Dicken's writing of that story. In public school we read various Dicken's books, and of course during the holidays we have all seen versions of Dicken's "A Christmas Carol." But I had never read "Great Expectations" before, and after seeing the SP episode I did read the book and I liked it. Therefore, I would like to see the return of Pip, even though the creators, M&T, killed him off with the intention of never bringing that character back to SP.
