The role reversal in this episode is brilliant. Complete with a town meeting where it's all the kids rabbling about something. It's so great. Substitute "Informative Murder Porn" with any violent movie or video game or whatever and that is exactly how stupid all that shit sounds.

If more of the episode were depicted within Minecraft, it would have definitely been funnier.

Wendy and Cartman's bit was great. Not an overly obnoxious runner, and it's realistic. And of course, I love scenes with a bunch of the kids together.
But my favorite stuff was seeing some of the adults and their marriages, but I really wish we'd seen more of the other marriages besides the Marshes. I was hoping the Tweeks or McCormicks'd finally get a chance to do something.
And more ACTUAL informative murder porn parodies. I kind of think it'd have been funnier without the MineCraft stuff in the middle and if it'd just been an ending gag.
The nipple rubbing stopped being funny before it started.
Couldn't agree more, Niels.

I just loved all that cable company shit. I have been bitching for a long, long time that you're forced to get dozens of shit channels that you never fucking watch to get one or two that you do. And they will never ever let you do ala carte channels. EVER! Because the content providers don't provide the cable companies with channels ala carte. So really it's the fault of companies like Viacom and Discovery Communications and Disney and NBC/Universal and so on.
As the consumer, though, we don't give a shit about that. I thought this was America! I agree with the guy's perspective 100%. Hilarious move from a cable show, by the way.
The cable company stuff and this awesome role reversal where kids are trying to prevent their parents from watching certain channels makes this a really strong episode. Kyle up there at a podium being outraged in public just like his mother! Definite step up from last week.

I'd say this was a step up from last week, which was pretty decent in itself. I had no idea that Investigation Discovery was gonna be targeted in this episode. The cable company was clearly supposed to be Time Warner based on their logo. I also thought it was really awesome to see so many characters get at least one line, especially Tweek, who spoke for the first time in four effing years, woo hoo! They need to do more episodes with all of the kids working together, except with everyone working as a true ensemble instead of having Stan, Kyle, Cartman, and Kenny having to be representatives for their actions or if there is a small cell of kids representing at the forefront, have it be Craig or Wendy's cliques with the main four and Butters as supporting players. If there's one thing I can take away from this episode, the adults of South Park have a really fucked-up taste in sexual activity.

In reality, John McCain is actually trying to fight this, just brought a new bill in the Senate last month. I almost half-expected to hear a reference to this, but I suppose he's too busy with Sarah in Tahiti or wherever they went after '08.

He had a great line about that a number of years ago (way before 08). Something to the effect that cable companies give Americans all the choice of a Soviet election.

Just to be clear, Linda Stotch is alive. She only died in Minecraft. Sort of like how the ep ended with Sharon and Randy.

Hey your right. That ending scene with Randy and Sharon on Minecraft was funny. So she was killed in the game but not for real. Wow a lot people get this confused.
