"The Interview" Cancelled?
I find this to be quite saddening that Sony is being pushed around by North Korea. "Team America: World Police" didn't have any trouble getting shown, so why so much anger over this movie and trouble? This has me wondering if the movie will ever be shown in theaters. What is your opinion on this issue?
Here is a link about the cancelation of the movie.

Terrorism wins once again. I'm not sure if the threats came from North Korea, though.
You should move there. See how that works for you.mudlick wrote:i am pro North Korea

Sony should not have caved in to the hackers (most likely North Korea) demands. Because that's what they wanted in the first place and means they've won.
I don't remember there being any threats when Team America was released.

if you cared anything about yugoslavia you would realize there was a brotherhood between Tito and Kim Il Sung.
its not about the standard of living there. its the fact that there is only one doorway to diplomacy to North Korea.; that is through their Leader. deprecating their leader is closing the door. i havent seen the trailer yet i will denounce it based on what it said.
clearly it is a propaganda piece and propaganda is the only retained war left so for yugoslavia north korea diplomatic relations i will remain patriotic to my dead nation's treaties

I heard that show was canceled, but I don't know anything about it story.
North Korea threatens? Are you kidding? Than this country can threaten?
Terrorism has become a threat to society, the world police work is bad.Mamont wrote:Terrorism wins once again. I'm not sure if the threats came from North Korea, though.

( Sorry my english will be bad

Yeah i came here to talk about "South Park Did it first".
Maybe they are so much "innovator", they can make it the first time, then after people react.
It's like the mohammed things, they did it the first time and nothing happen. Then the second time and more, the extremist went crazy ( even for some caricature in France i think ? i dont remember well )
Same thing here, Team America did it and was the first and Korea didnt have time to "attack/Riposte". Now they had the time and the "strategy".
It's a very weird story, and a kind of funny way to "attack" ( just before the bomb threat ).
Publishing "star/system" hacked email was kind of funny + hurt them good because it seem real ( and they were a$$hole in their email lol.)
But now it too far, too much just for a movie.
And Team America did it first woot ! South Park are visionnary ! ( Maybe the current leader saw it when we was kid and it broke his heart too much? lol )
Re: "The Interview" Cancelled?
Well I guess those that live in Dallas Texas will be getting a treat as because ‘The Interview’ is not to be shown it will be replaced by ‘Team America: World Police’ at the Alamo Drafthouse there.

Re: "The Interview" Cancelled?
While the US doesn't give in to terrorism (at least that's been the propaganda), this is a private company (Sony). It's no different from Comedy Central censoring "201" and pulling some episodes from the episode player here. Lives were potentially at stake with the release of "The Interview." Have we forgotten that people were killed in Colorado at the movies?
Sony will probably recoup the money and even make more money by releasing this film direct to DVD, BlueRay, and streaming services. The interest level in seeing the film in the comfort of one's own home will make money for Sony.

How dare they slander the fat North Korean hamster?!! Don't they have any respect for overweight radioactive rodents? His species is on the brink of extinction. He should be handled with kid gloves exclusively.
Leave the fat hamster alone!!! Leave him alone, I'm serious!

On a less Chris Crocker related note, these terrorists sure as hell know how to advertise a movie. They know how to make everyone want to watch it, even if it's not actually worth watching. What they cannot afford is to let such a movie go unnoticed. That's why the aim of drawing potential viewers' attention to it justifies any means imaginable.

So? Both countries were under communist dictatorship. Okay, Yugoslavia wasn't really a communist, but a socialist state. We had more freedom than other communist countries.mudlick wrote:if you cared anything about yugoslavia you would realize there was a brotherhood between Tito and Kim Il Sung.
Still, it was a dictatorship, and you should be grateful you didn't experienced it.
That's how it's been done before, and look how that turned out.mudlick wrote:its not about the standard of living there. its the fact that there is only one doorway to diplomacy to North Korea.; that is through their Leader. deprecating their leader is closing the door.

Re: "The Interview" Cancelled?
there is no choice. Supreme Leader is the only way to open the door. Dennis Rodman knew it. be polite and He will be polite.
here is some more propaganda from my North Korea page.
it is the future Native Indian Prince or Great Chief of Canada raised by Kim Jung Il and Yoko Ono

this is the centre portion of a philosophical clock i made based on I Ching charts i found on wikipedia. it features Canada, Korea at the Apex and a mirror image of the Balkans. i gave this to a Korean Presbyterian minister to Romania. the I Ching bars are featured on the South Korean flag

everyone says Kim Jung Il Kim Jung Un they have no soul they have no Seoul. its not true. their people are their soul. and i am trying to open a door to them to do something so noble that the white man is too ignorant and selfish to ever accomplish. A Great National Native Chief of Canada. all they have to do is kidnap a Native Canadian boy and raise him with the Dignity of a Prince and send him back when he is ready to be a Leader
This film is derive and hateful based on the description i read
if you can't depose a dictator the best thing to do is:
BE THEIR CONSCIENCE. INSPIRE THEM TO DO GOOD
and i would live in communist Yugoslavia in a second. the shame i feel in being slovenian canadian and slovenians catalysing a Balkan War with selfish and apathetic 'independence' is intolerable. i would thrive in Tito's Yugoslavia

Re: "The Interview" Cancelled?
I'm not sure in propaganda, but if at the end of the film Kim Jong-un really will die, I see nothing surprising in such actions hackers. The writers are crazy, forgetting what in North Korea's attitude to the leaders? What prevents to make a funny and happy ending if it's comedy?
The CIA tried to kill Fidel Castro about 50 times. The script of the film in this case can be considered outrageous for this reason, over such things not kidding.

Re: "The Interview" Cancelled?
Oh hell, whom are you trying to explain? Croats hate Serbs and Slovenes. Yugoslavia was independent and free country, when it was whole, could have self-sufficient economy, where all countries complement each other by working together. Instead, now a bunch of small States, independent and free only by words. The war was arranged from outside.mudlick wrote:and i would live in communist Yugoslavia in a second. the shame i feel in being slovenian canadian and slovenians catalysing a Balkan War with selfish and apathetic 'independence' is intolerable. i would thrive in Tito's Yugoslavia

...and how to get that movie pulled. Sony has no plans of releasing it on Christmas Day or any other day now.VACOOLA wrote:these terrorists sure as hell know how to advertise a movie.
