You're welcome in advance.

I don't know how they got my professional email address, but they got it. It's kind of like they're trolling legitimate job search sites like Monster or Career Builder. Anyway, it irritates me.JamesPup wrote:I get mail like this every day. I always get the fake "you won money" scammers. I called one of them and it was some African with terrible reception on his cell phone. There seems to be nothing that will stop these people. I think the only option is to create a new e-mail and never give out your e-mail to anyone suspicious. I think Facebook or MySpace gave my e-mail to people as I have no other clue how others got it. Or it could have been porn sites.
You should send that episode idea to Trey and Matt. XDJamesPup wrote:You may just be right, it may be Career Builder and maybe SnagAJob. I spent lots of time at these places trying to get a job but all fails. Either way there are too many losers trying to scam people. I wrote an episode idea about this with Butters being pushed by Cartman to answer one of these and that he traveled to Africa too. This does need some light as it is total bullsh*t.
You NEVER give a company:
A) Your Social Security Number
B) Your Banking Information
C) Your Credit Score
*A can be done if you know the company is legit and accredided like for ex...Wal-Mart or Fidelity Investments (just examples) but NOT for some fancy Top Shop without first going to the store and asking a manager if it is truly necessary for the application*
I'll definitely remember that next time. Thanks.mo303564 wrote:Craigslist, Monster, and CareerBuilder....while GOOD sites to look on for jobs....you have to be extremely weary because there are scammers out there on those sites. If you want a more "Secure" website...try "Indeed". They are great! Also search for speciality websites for jobs.
