I've posted before that I use ESET for my anti-virus software. I encourage everyone to make sure that whichever anti-virus solution that you use, make sure that it is current and up-to-date.
Today ESET sent me an email. I took a screen grab of it for readers of this thread. Be careful out there!

****EDIT****
By the way, the screen grab has a clickable link in it ("malware issues"). However, as a "screen grab" that link of course is not clickable. Here is what the link links up to: http://www.welivesecurity.com/2016/10/0 ... q_mid=2386

And on another note, yesterday Adobe upgraded its Flash Player to 23.0.0.185. Once again, check out this link to see what version of Flash Player you're using, okay?

M'kay.
I finally updated the iOS on my iPhong, and it's like a completely different machine now.
It's like I gotta relearn how to use my phone.

Re: Comp and Tech thread. Everything digital goes here.
Lately, I've been using a website called postimg.org to host my pics to use under the image tags here on the BBS. It has been fast, and I've enjoyed using it. Previously, I've used "Skitch," which is now gone as it was bought by "Evernote."
I also have hosted my images in places such as Photobucket. But postimg.org has been great - no signup, no login - just upload your pic and get a code to post onto the BBS.
Well now, postimg.org may end, that is, disappear, cease to exist! They use petabytes of data, which are hosted by CloudFlare. A petabyte = 1000000000000000B = 1000terabytes. <---- source of this info = wiki.
Here's the current situation of postimg.org as of a few days ago, October 27, 2016. The result is that all of the images that I have linked to this South Park BBS with the image tags referring to postimg.org may soon disappear forever

Microsoft is not happy with Google's disclosure of Windows bug. Well, I can see where this leads to.

Google Chrome 55 now defaults to HTML5 for most sites. I have a feeling that this HTML5 can be better than Flash, which may be going away forever.
