Re: *2103: Holiday Special* Post-Air Discussion
I have to be careful about deleting duplicate posts in this thread for some reason. The last post on a page is also the first post on the next page, and if I delete one the other disappears too. Sorry mario88.
Oh, the things you don't find out during an episode. :/ If this tidbit makes it into the Live Tweet in a week or two, then I'll accept it. After all, Mrs. Nelson wasn't named when she first appeared, but her name appeared in the Live Tweet the following week.

If Principal Victoria still works at the school, what's her occupation there now that she's no longer principal?
South Park is way funnier than Family Guy.
Also Mr. Garrison and Donald Trump are two SEPARATE people with completely different career backgrounds.

I think she is like Superintendent Chalmers now. I think this was meant to be covered during the PC and Ad's season. I guess, like maybe plots and things they wanted to do, lots got left out of the season finale. I think we will find out about Victoria at some point.

She could be a consultant or adviser to PC Principal now.

Before Season 20, I thought she was going to take Mr. Mackey's place and have him fired from school because of how he got her fired.

Re: *2103: Holiday Special* Post-Air Discussion
Isn't Mackey like the Vice Principal? That would meant Victoria would get a job downgrade. That would suck.

He's the school counselor, and has been since Season 1. You'd think he would have been promoted, but with all the changes brought in during Season 19, they decided the school needed new blood.

Re: *2103: Holiday Special* Post-Air Discussion
I'd have to give this episode a 5 or 6 out of 10. The stuff with the kids was pretty nice, and little things like Kenny using his Mysterion voice was a nice touch. But the rest of the episode just seemed like a generic Randy plot, and I can't stress enough how much they need to give him a break. They said this season was going to focus mainly on the kids, so they need to start showing it.

Principal Victoria is not present in the uncensored version of the episode.
Re: *2103: Holiday Special* Post-Air Discussion
When it aired first, the audio was completely out of sync for the first few minutes. I re watched the next night and a few minutes in, the picture dropped out and it was a few minutes of black screen before it went back in. Seems like something might have gone wrong with the satellite uplink between Los Angeles and New York (Either that or something malfunctioned when they were copying it in for playback)
The episode was fine.

I had the same thing happen and mentioned it the night of airing already. Still it is helpful for us to bring this up to get the episode fixed up.kfgg wrote: ↑Fri Sep 29, 2017 9:52 pmWhen it aired first, the audio was completely out of sync for the first few minutes. Aw, so Principal Victoria really is gone for good?
Still kind of supports my point that s20 and s21 can mostly be the same if Victoria had been back, for all the worries people had about him changing the structure of the show forever.

South Park is a platform for Matt and Trey's social commentary and satire; there is no canon and these characters only serve as tools for self-expression. Don't get attached.
Re: *2103: Holiday Special* Post-Air Discussion
Figured it was an oversight.
