How exactly did Cartman win in Stunning and Brave?

Postby blancowhite » Mon Apr 23, 2018 1:45 am

So I've searched everywhere for a clear answer, and a lot seem to be saying he won by getting out of serving detention. But that's the thing- this was never explicitly shown or stated at all towards the end of the episode.

Have a feeling the answer is tied in with his sardonic remark to Kyle at the end. ''What's wrong, Kyle? You have your cake- eat it, too''

Kyle wanted Cartman to get around PC Principal's pesky rules, which Cartman eventually did in attacking the bro house. One can assume that the PC bros have eased up on their discipline somewhat, and people can be politically incorrect at times. Cartman got to eat his cake, and invited Kyle to do the same.

Kyle also said that everyone else lost in this, how did Kyle loose?

Kyle had to take back his words about Caitlyn Jenner: "I don't think Caitlyn Jenner is a hero." He did the right thing in taking it back and saying Caitlyn is a hero, stunning and brave, but it meant he couldn't joke about her anymore, and so, even though the boys showed PC Principal that sometimes joking about un-PC things can actually be important, because it starts a dialogue, Kyle can't change his mind again.
