Season 23 to begin on 9/25 this year; three new seasons added!

Postby Big-Will » Wed Jul 17, 2019 6:01 am

Still no word on new seasons after this one.

And "Dead Kids" failed to make it to the next round of Emmy nominations.

[9/12] we get three more seasons!

Anyone have any predictions for this year?

Last year, people predicted episodes about Vaping and Cancel Culture, which both ended up being commented on in Season 22.

There has been so many shootings in the last 24 hours.

What about an episode about Pacifica High School or otherwise known as Hitler High!

Apparently the global strike against climate change is happening on the same day as the Area 51 Alienstock event. If, in South Park, the raid happens anyway in an episode for whatever reason, I think there would be a dilemma over who's going to Area 51 and who's going to strike against climate change. Of course, the was a clime change/ManBearPig two parter last season. ManBearPig had agreed to return in 10 years time. So if ManBearPig is the analogy for climate change, then he's gone until 2028 (well, unless the characters don't age up 10 years by then). So Al Gore could try to raise awareness again, but he was too caught up in being cereal to know the area 51 raid was going to happen on the same day as his strike against the future implications of ManBearPig. So since they brought AL Gore back last season anyway, they probably wouldnt do another whole episode on him. So maybe they could have one scene showing Al Gore trying to raise awareness, but everyone is busy thinking about Area 51. I don't know if Matt and Trey would do an Area 51 episode though. They definitely could if they have an idea involving Area 51 that they'd want to do this season.

Oh, and with the talk of a possible recession, they could call back to Margaritaville by having a margarita machine appear in the background, in every room in the Marsh family home. At the end of Margaritaville, Randy was seen buying the newest Margaritaville machine despite his needless spending talk, so it could happen in Season 23.

Some Alien Wizards would help with getting all the Epstein out of our heads.

If Randy is going to make margaritas he can make them from marijuana as he now lives on a pot farm with his family.

I heard that Steam offers lots of sexual anime games now and they are real popular. I could see the kids and adults getting into these.

Oh yeah, for some reason I forgot about Tegridy Farms while typing that paragraph. I don't know how I did that... but anyway, I know their home is in Tegridy Farms now. Speaking of Tegridy Farms, I'm wondering how Randy's weed business has been doing during the offseason. My prediction is that Tegridy Weed will be really popular in every state marijuana is legal in, instead of just South Park. It may even be popular across Canada too.

Also, if Jeffrey Epstein is commented on, they should also comment on Ghislaine Maxwell. The entire situation should be satirized by Matt and Trey.

I think Randy’s weed business has been doing great. The evidence is South Parks own YouTube channel and social media accounts. There has been lots of fake ads for the Tegrity weed. I remember 2 I believe. So the takeaway seems that season 23 will still feature the pot farm. We could see an end to the farm as the season progresses though. I think Trey will want to end the Tegrity farm plot one of these days, if not this season, then next. Just my personal take on things. I think of the Garrison plot. Trump may be out of office soon if a recession happens as the stock market can’t handle these China trade wars. I think a lot of the plots that are carrying over to new seasons will be dropped if Trump falls out of the presidency, just my personal take. I feel the show will need a clean slate.

Can only hope for the best. Last season was probably the best they did in awhile. They even said they liked it in the DVD commentary. If the topics, energy and mindset are there, it could be a great season. Otherwise it’s just hope for the best. Been hoping for the best for years now. I really miss the reset button every week. Last season did OK in that regard. There were a couple that were not supposed to be two parters last season, but they just had too much to fill into 22 minutes.

No idea what they’ll do beyond this season, but I know they’ll probably be needing a new streaming service for the back catalog now that Disney controls 100% of Hulu. Some are thinking CBS All Access now that Viacom and CBS will once again be the same company as of next month supposedly.
