I knew they would push back Season 21. They don’t do things in August. It usually Co-premieres with some other show Comedy Central is trying to push. Do they have anything new this fall?

They’re uploading clips now because they can. I don’t believe they were able to upload as many to Youtube under the Hulu deal, not too sure.

Comedy Central’s PR announced the season premiere dates on the following dates

Season 23 - August 14th
Season 22 - July 11th
Season 21 - August 23rd
Season 20 - July 22nd

If there is anything this year, there should be an announcement within the month

The earlist article regarding the announcement of Season 23 came out on July 18, 2019.

Season 21 was announced on May 17, 2017 to begin August 23, 2017, but it was pushed back to September 13, 2017 sometime in July 2017 (Reddit shows it was on July 7, 2017, but Google search cutsom range doesn't bring up that article.)

Unless I'm missing something then yes there should be an announcement in the next month, before the expected release date (mid-late September.) If not, then, same thing.

How would you feel if the Season were delayed to late October or November?
S21 was actually announced on May 15 (the blog entry for that date has since been removed), and was pushed back on July 7. I still don't know why they originally set it for August 23, as they've never started a half season or a ten-episode run in August.

The earliest announcement about Season 23 was actually on July 16 at SDCC - a banner showing the start date was up, and someone took a picture of it.

As Comedy Central Press has S21 announced on August 23rd, 2017, we have 10 days to hear from Comedy Central before we think about getting concerned.

One more thing to consider is that S21 began on September 13, just three weeks later. So if S24 begins on Sept. 23, the latest we could hear about it is September 2.

Just so long as a B-story of like Randy or Fatass not wanting to wear a mask wouldn't be topical any more. Yeah. A story: Fatass doing remote learning. B Story: Randy leads dipshits in anti-mask crusade, gets Corona, cures it with Campbell's chicken noodle soup and Spite.

Not seriously though; both of those shows have been done. Fatass tried home schooling in Hooked on Monkey Phonics and the Randy story is mostly a Red Man's Greed rehash. I'm such a hack. :P

And... they did masks after 9/11.

So far nobody has announced anything official. Wondering if there will be a delay. Either that or there is a delay in the announcement.

As far as Comedy Central goes, they cancelled a couple shows (Tosh.0 and Drunk History) and seem to be in the process of rebuilding most of the network around shows like South Park. Adult Animation.

So since today marks two weeks before the possible premiere date, I'm predicting an announcement today. I hope this prediction is more rational instead of deciding to choose a random day for the prediction. I'm hoosing this day but it's not so concrete because we don't know for sure if the season begins in two weeks. There's online TV schedules that'll update for the 23rd today. If the season begins on the 23rd, then we could see "2401" or "The adventures of four boys in South Park" type of description on the Sept. 23rd at 10:00 PM timeslot. If not, then this prediction is wrong.

No PR today. TV Guide lists the 10PM Eastern schedule on September 23rd for South Park as “Eeek! A Penis” which is obviously a rerun.

I’d check the Comedy Central site but it has a redirect problem on the schedule page.

Nothing scheduled that day for Much in Canada. Much usually airs it at the same time as Comedy Central.

I was under the impression they might have been able to handle everything somehow but it looks more and more like we will not be getting a season this fall. At least not this month unless they decide to start on the 30th.

Nothing on the Blog
Nothing at Comedy Central Press
The Schedule here only covers the current week from Tuesday to Monday
Nothing on reddit (yes, they're worried over there as well)
Nothing on Twitter or Facebook or Instagram
Nothing in Google search results

Man I've been looking almost everyday. We need South Park more than ever right now. Ugh.

We're probably gonna have to wait until LA County eases their restrictions for their COVID 19 measures for the office. Afaik, they still require anyone working in an office to be working remotely, and I'm pretty sure South Park Studios' production is covered over the office rulings.

Looks like we're getting a Pandemic Special! As for Season 24, we'll have to wait and see how it goes. But anyway, we're getting a special! I'm excited for this.

Amazing, I'm so thrilled. It's still two weeks away and who knows when the next episode will be scheduled, but we finally have a day, and it's going to be a one hour special.
He is the record!
