Re: The Official Stan Discussion Thread
[quote="Schantrac"]Lets reactivate this thread again. Instead of just anyone posting here, you can only post if Stan really is your number 1 character, so as to avoid spam.

D: That wouldn't be fair, though. Stan isn't my absolute favorite character, but that doesn't mean that I dislike him in any way. I don't mind when people come in and say they really don't like him very much, as long as it's not spam.
Some idiot coming in here saying, "I LOVE STAN HE IS THA BEST CARTMAN IS STUPID KYLE IS STUIUD YAY STAN" is just as bad as someone coming in and saying, "I don't like Stan
"
And Stan and Kyle are equally smart but in different ways and subjects.

What are you talking about? I'd say that it's Kyle who's book smart and Stan who's more street smart.
Read my horrible webcomic you fat assh*le!

I agree with Jay C. Kyle seems more book smart. Stan is more street smart.

I wouldn't call Stan street-smart, so much as people-smart. He's a lot more empathetic and understanding than Kyle, who seems like the one who does really well in school and manages to use plain old logic most of the time.
x-x they can both be pretty reckless a lot of the time though. Kyle, it seems, moreso than Stan, but Stan's a lot calmer and not quite as inherently "quick" as Kyle.
D: I could be wrong though. Hmm.

Man, I go away for a while and the thread jumps back up.
Intelligence: Equal, but in different ways. Kyle is more intelligence insofar as his knowledge will make him more money in the real world. Stan is intelligent in the sense he has a better understanding of people. Kyle would be the one to make the big bucks, while Stan would be doing a job that he loves.

That's how it's down here on the farm!
