Best Halloween episode?

Postby Sonnyvice » Mon Jan 08, 2007 5:41 pm

What is your favourite South Park Halloween episode? I'm not sure if there is some topic about this already, but what a hell :)

South park halloween episodes are:

Pink Eye
Spookyfish
Korn's Groovy Pirate Ghost Mystery
Hell on Earth 2006

My favourite is of course classic Pink Eye. It's so damn funny and also one of the greatest SP episodes ever for sure.
Spookyfish is GREAT episode also, I love it!
Korn's Groovy Pirate Ghost Mystery is nice and the jokes are very cool! I don't like Korn as a band, but that scooby doo -humour was great!
Hell on Earth is quite boring episode, like many eps from 10th season. Satan is of course cool but the whole episode makes me sleep...

I'll say Pink Eye, because I loved Chef's outfit.

It's my favourite out of those anyway.

KoRn's groovy pirate ghost mystery, cause I love the way how South Park portray KoRn as Scooby-doo characters and then they turn really aggresive at the end with their music. And Niblet rules!

^At that time I never heard of KoRn and wasn't into heavy music, so it was pretty aggresive to me then.

Pretty good question since all 4 are great episodes. Pink Eye is just classic, though I'd have too go with Spooky Fish since it was one of the first SP episodes I ever saw and not a bad one on a whole. I'd have too say Hell On Earth was the worst. It's a good episode, but dosen't compare too the others.

I'd have to say Korn's Groovy Pirate Ghost Mystery the Scooby-Doo gags were great and Kenny's costume was great and his death at the end was one of his best.

Hell, they’re all awesome. I can’t really pick. Hell on Earth 2006 was funny as hell, and the other ones were classic. It’s hard to pick.

Hell on Earth didn't do that much for me except for the serial killers side plot.
Spookyfish was an enjoyable spoof of far-fetched lowbudget semi-horror that we see on TV from time to time.
Pinkeye was a lot of fun and best described as a melting pot of several horror movies and related media (like Jackson's Thriller video)

But Korn's Groovy... was the most consistent episode and the explanations of the ghost visions had me in stitches, particularly because we had seen the illusions cut off heads before :). Nearly everything fit the Scooby Doo format perfectly. I think that was the best.

I agree with every single letter of that post.

Very well said.

I'm not a big fan of season 1, but Pinkeye all the way.
