Worked my butt off today. It was virtually non-stop both today and yesterday.

I woke up, I internetted, I went to a NB club meeting at Fuddrucker's in Grapevine, My Grandmother felt nauseous, so I went with my dad and Aunt Monica to take her to the ER around 5, and stayed till 10. Then me and dad took her home, and stayed with her until 1:15. Dad and I were in separate vehicles and we all went in my car when we took Grandma home, so on the way back we had to swing back by the hospital and get the truck. Dad was already driving my car, and we were listening to one of his CDs, so I got out and drove his truck home. I don't want to sound like Sir Cuntleroy Douchington, but my car sounds f*cking awesome! I have an aftermarket exhaust and intake set up, and... well I've never had a good listen to it before outside of the car. It sounds very European, and not ricey at all.
Well, that's enough from me on that.

Saw that new Fantastic Four movie. It was fun stuff!
Then on the bus back, some dipski in a T-Bird decided to turn left, just in front of us! A few of us were tossed around, but no one was hurt. Of course, if we hadn't slammed on the brakes, that car would've been a Thundergiblet!
Currently chillin'.

Children of the Mind ~ Orson Scott Card.
The Ender series is amazing if you like Science fiction. Normally I am a really slow reader, but I read the 2nd in the quartet in 15 hours and it's a 400 page book! (Speaker For the Dead is the title, by the way).
Plus there's the parallel series: Ender's Shadow and it's sequels! ^^

Preface: I left the gas cap off my car yesterday in the pouring rain for 4 hours, and was afraid of running it for fear I may have alot of water in the tank.
So, I got up at 7, and took dad to work in his truck so I'd have a working vehicle to drive around in. I talked to the service manager at Lewisville VW (who's sponsoring our NB car show in October), and she said something I never ever expected to hear from someone working at a dealership... "You can bring your car in if you want to, but I don't want to take your money if I don't have to."
So, on her advice (and some from a friend in the club) bought some STP fuel treatment, and put some premium fuel in the tank, and drove the hell out of car. I drove all around Dallas, Richardson, Garland, Farmer's Branch, Irving, Grapevine, and Ft. Worth, from about 10:30 - two-something. All in all I think it was about 150 miles. I went and picked up Dad from work at 4:30, and while he went off to do my Aunt's yoga class, I stayed in and cleaned up my car some more until about 8:00. I showered, ate dinner, and have been on the computer for about 2 hours.
So... wait, where have you been living?

Had the day off from work today, and spent some time in Seattle with my gf. We went and saw the 7-Eleven Kwik-E-Mart on Denny Way. Hilarious!
