I swear to god, it's like something is trying to tell me not to go on this trip this weekend. The tree over the driveway is infested with web-worm (the worst infestation yet), so I have to detail my car in the yard away from said tree. Then it rains so I can't finish waxing. Then I slice my foot open on the extension ladder in the garage while washing my detailing towels, and now I've left the gas flap open and the cap off in the pouring rain. There's no way to tell if I have any water in the tank without pulling it out and draining it, I can't start and run the car for fear that I'd suck the water up into the fuel pump/filter/engine (water is heavier than gasoline), and I have to get that done tomorrow so that I can leave Friday morning at 6am. I can't really pull the tank myself (well, I could but it'd take me a long ass time) And of course the dealership said it'd cost around $300 to do. I can't even siphon the gas or water out because modern vehicles have baffles and screens in the filler neck to prevent someone from siphoning your gas anyway.
:x :x :x I knew I shouldn't have gone out today.

^ All I can say is.........DAM! :?

In other news, I'm getting pretty freaked out with all this really bad rain and flooding that's going on. June is not a time for heavy rain and flooding......no......that's for December.
Good thing I live on a hill - you won't be finding sandbags and lil' bunkers surrounding my home.

I live at the bottom of a hill. :(

In other news, we finally had our water ban lifted. I was drinking the water anyway...

All is well with the BRM Bug. A bottle of STP, and a tank of Chevron 93 octane, and she's runnin' fine. My *massive foot-wound seems to be mending as well. I even got around to cleaning up the interior today, despite the pouring rain. All I have to do now is clean the windshield, install my dash mat, put Jesus back in place, and I'm readys to go!

*It only feels massive.

Oh, just your usual spam, super opinionated people (you all know who you are), nonsensical bastards such as myself and Nommel, and spam. Of course I tend to selectively block out any big drama that goes on, and forget everything else, so someone else may have to fill you in on anything my brain refuses to recall.

The heat must be unbearable in Texas. I'm in Indiana and it's unbearable here.

Very, considering the fact you'll NEVER GET SOME.

[Well, I thought it was an intelligent and witty reply]
