Way too many reasons not to do it, one of them being that a) sex leads to babies, b) birth control can and will fail on occasion, and c) I'd make a terrible, terrible mother. I'm not much of a religious person, either.. it's just a personal choice.

I'm not a religious person! The other things are wrote on the last post.

My cell phone is a virgin...mainly because that's the name of the provider it's connected to...that counts, right?

Geez, those plans drive me insane...okay, I admit it. It's only because my boyfriend has that provider and he's always running out of minutes.

Back on subject, yeah...as I mentioned before, I'm a virgin and proud of it.

Goodbye, cruel world...
I'm leaving you today
Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye...
Goodbye, all you people
There's nothing you can say
To make me change my mind...
Goodbye...

Yes, I'm a Virgin. I'm not someone that goes out and is looking just to score with hot chicks.

I'm not sure how it works on the US version of the provider, but on the Canadian version you can get an unlimited calling plan that costs around $30 a month. You just need to make sure you have $30 in your account by the end of the month, and they've been making it a lot easier by letting you attach both debit and credit cards to your accounts, so money can be auto-withdrawn when needed.
But back on track.
I've probably said this before, but I don't really see why one should make a big deal of being proud of being a virgin or not. Sexual status shouldn't decide the quality of a person. As of Summer 2006, I can't say that I'm a virgin, but I'm not proud or ashamed of it. I don't have any regrets, because me and the other person I know are still good friends, and I will admit I'm glad I got to experience it, but I don't see the point in making a big deal of it.
I've also probably said this before, but I've always seen "Virginity" as more of one of many labels that religion uses to separate those who they consider "good" and "evil". I honestly can't see how virginity makes a person what he or she is. You can have an unmarried couple who are sexually active, but are still good people...they're just really horny for each other, is all.

I think that those who are proud to be non-virgins are just trying to use that pride to hide the fact that they're total dickshits who like to make people feel lesser about themselves and have nothing better to do with their lives...the same can be applied to virgins too, although they could also be proud of it due to their own beliefs. I, don't see the point in being proud of either or, but that could be because my outlook on sex is very light-hearted.
That doesn't mean I condone or encourage cheating or being promiscuous or the like, I'm just saying that I don't think it's wrong for two people who really like each other to have a little fun, provided that both parties know of the risk factor, have taken any necessary steps to prevent any "accidents", and most importantly, aren't hurting each other or anyone else that they might be close to.

Re: Are you a Virgin?
Yes, I'm not really interested in "scoring hot chicks", I had a pretty serious relationship though, but we kind of had a falling out but we're best friends now. but I'm only 13, so anyone with any moral center should be a virgin at my age, so I'll just stick to porn.

couldn't agree more. 13 is way too young!
though it's hard to say when you're old enough to have sex.
In Belgium, by law, you're alowed to have sex from the age of 16. I don't know how it goes in the USA, though.
but it's a good thing that law states a certain age.
and kids these days are so impressionable, tv doesn't help a bit!
so it's a good thing that they are protected by law.
and euhm,
no, i'm not a virgin anymore

Re: Are you a Virgin?
Virgin? Definitely.
People find it weird, that I'm nearly 20 and haven't done "it", but I'd rather wait if I wanted to lose it, rather than go out now and quickly try to now just to be 'in'.
When I was about 16, a friend of mine I had at the time had a friend who openly bragged about her sexcapades and was all "I LET SOME GUY FINGER ME RIGHT IN THE THEATER LOL", and a few years before that, a girl in the neighborhood was all "I totally got high with this guy and sucked his cock!". And back in 6th grade, there was a girl who kept bugging me during class and asking me if I ever gave a guy head, etc.
I remember back in fourth, some kid asked if I was a "virgin". I was like "...uh, what does that mean?".
Some say I'm one of the most asexual girls they've met, though I honestly don't know what to think about that. I'm still confused about to which way I swing as well, though I try not to put too much thought into it all. You don't need to try and jump into a relationship to be happy, after all. I know that one knows when they know...thing is, what if they don't know if they know or not? Feelings like that are confusing if you're one that's not used to having them and has actively avoided and not sought out relationships.
But then, that's just my experience. Stress can also do weird things with your mind, if you've got those type of thoughts brewing in your head too.
What's worse is when you're friends with someone, but then you begin having odd feelings or thinking you might have those feelings as you're stressed and your mind is overloaded and playing with you, as you realize how impossible the assumed crush/"relationship" is and how it'd never work, yet you're stressed over it. Of course, if you get it off your chest to someone and the stress disappears, you realize it was just stress-induced and all. The problem is when some people make you feel bad over that too, though, besides being a virgin and make jokes about you wanting to "jump bones" (when your crush wasn't very sexual at all), as if jokes about one being a slut weren't enough. Or when folks you didn't outright tell figure it out and seek to make you uncomfortable about it (especially if it's someone who wanted you, except not really, and is jealous you didn't take them).
There's nothing wrong with taking time to "lose virginity", though. And I think to myself that sometimes, people don't need to be with someone to happy, that there are people that are just as fine and well-off that are by themselves.
*though it would be nice if I could find someone, and that they'd understand that I wouldn't want to "lose it" so fast. Relationships don't have to be built on "I WANT SEX NOW, THANKS!"*

Re: Are you a Virgin?
You are completly right, Ceriza! Unfortunately, a lot of teenagers nowadays have a relationship thinking about sex immediately. In the American movies that's all that stupid romantic movies that a boy or girl who is virgin and the partner makes a way to have wsex with her (or him). The movies make that ads that sex is great and who doesn't make is weird.
It's completly the opposite, if you maintain your virginity you win much more than loose with someone who doesn't deserve you or just "showing to the society" that you are like them.
God bless, in my class I guess that all (or almost) the girls are virgin and some of them have a boyfriend, so they don't force anyone to date or make sex, I'm only afraid to suffer that in college, if the people in college don't accept my moralities I'll order they kick their ass*s.
Unfortunately, here in Brazil, it's like the same situation you said. If a twenty-years-old woman/man says is a virgin the people get shocked or think it's strange wondering that's an other world stuff, and it's not, it's completely normal to be a virgin!
