Hello everyone, please watch south park this wednesday the 26th at 10pm on comedy central. They made me into a cartoon character. Very excited!!!

Her name is Lisa A Daniels. I've never actually heard of her until she posted this, but considering Heavy Metal is supposed to be borderline pornographic (according to some of the posts made here), it's possible that Kenny meets pornstars or something while on a trip. Sounds weird, I know.

For the record, she posted that before any news on the episode was released. I posted about it on another SP forum but it was instantly dismissed. Would be funny if it was true

Maybe the Production Blog will mention her, or at least a porn star.

Well of course Kenny would be the one experimenting with drugs.
He's poor.
And poor people suck.

Kenny's poor, therefore cannot afford drugs. Anyone familiar with the craze in middle schools with choking themselves, so they experience a high when the blood flows back to the brain?

Seems like something Kenny would do, and it made news frequently. I forget the technical term for it, but it's a big thing for kids who don't want the 'real' drugs.

You're thinking of something similar to auto-erotic asphyxiation, but that really wouldn't qualify as a drug. Fad maybe..but not drug.

we all remember the last 2 times sp varied the animation (GTWW and MLNW) and they were two of the best ever episodes ever! lets hope the 3rd continues the trend!
Yes, at first I was happy to be learning how to read. It seemed exciting and magical, but then I read this: Atlas Shrugged, by Ayn Rand. I read every last word of this garbage, and because of this piece of sh*t, I am never reading again

I've never heard of this "Heavy Metal" movie before. To the YouTube!

Already found a clip that mirrors the preview with Kenny riding some kind of giant half-pigeon, half-chicken, half-pterodactyl thing.

Well anyway, good luck to Kenny in this one.

Kenny-centered episode and a parody of Heavy Metal?? I love it already!

Plutonian nyborg rocks! Good nyborg, man!

:unhoodedkenny:

This could be the first really good episode of the season (IMO)!

I'm psyched for this.

I'm glad someone left a link to the trailer of Heavy Metal, at least I know that the movie their talking about is the same one I saw.

Or only the first half of it. I had no idea what the bird thing was or the girl, so I assumed it was a completely different movie.

But yes, that movie almost feels like you're watching a bunch of adult situations while high only with aliens and robots and sh*t. I need to watch it again sometime.
What's the difference between a 7-11 and a smurf?

A 7-11 is a 24-hour convenience store and a smurf is a small blue fictional cartoon character.

I'm taking this episode to the bushes first!

This oughtta be hilarious! I hope they got a good soundtrack like they did with the original HM.

@triplemultiplex: Heavy Metal (1981) was a collection of short stories wrapped around a central theme, involving a mysterious green orb that was supposedly the source of all evil. The animation for each individual story was done by different animators and crews around the world.

Many voice actors, most out of Canada, contributed for at least one character each, like John Candy, Harold Ramis, Roger Bumpass (Squidward), and so on.

The concept of having all these separate stories is reflected off the format of the HM magazine, which has been providing adult-oriented comic storylines since 1977.

Also, look for Heavy Metal 2000, a single-story sequel featuring the voices of Billy Idol and the wife of HM editor Kevin Eastman (TMNT)!

FACT: It was because of the many artists in HM's soundtrack and all the rights involved that it took 15 years after the movie's original release to finally come out on video here in America!

Is Heavy Metal the 80's film M and T reference wanting to have made in one of those "entertaining Old People" clips they did? The one with all the black leather and motorbike-transformer things?

Anyhoo, looks good so far. Could redeem season 12.

Anytrhing inviting M and T to bring out their ROCK GOD side can't be bad!

Just the animation style would be enough for me. I havn't seen anything that crazy since the Pythons disbanded, the creator of AHAD left the forum, and I last looked in a mirror.

Still, woot for the resurected Kenny :)

i bet, its going to be jenkem. Kenny is poor, and it is used by poor people in 3rd world countrys, and suposedly some kids in america/north america have been stupid enough to take it up i belive.

Either that or the hole jenkem phenomina is a hoax, But i think this episode is based on it for that fact, aswell as jenkem suposedly gives you visions, witch would account for kennys hardcore trip.

I have a feeling this will be good either way, Cant wait to see where they go with this.
