large and semi large crowds. I have a thing about 'em...bad things happen in large crowds. I start sweating and get dizzy. It's horrible. I shop at 3am if at all possible to avoid large crowds, or in the middle of a weekday when I know everyone is at work. I'm a strange little animator. "sigh" I have a friend who has a fear of comquats (or however it is spelled) they are odd, and do taste bad. If I had to pick a fear of fruit, it would be the Durian...it's like a thorny crazy alien egg sack "gross" but They're too tasty to fear. meow.

I can't help but think most of the stuff people are posting are not actual phobias. Just because you don't like something or are scared of it doesn't make it a phobia.
A phobia means you have an uncontrollable panic attack when confronted with whatever you're phobic of. It's way more severe than just being totally scared of a snake or a bug or whatever.

I've gotten over most of my phobias, except for fire. You could not send me to a candlelit dinner. I would freak out. I HATE fire. That is the one thing that will send me running out of the room in seconds.

Being stared at.That and lightning are the only things that I am afraid of.

death scares me. I actually legitimately freak out when I think about it. I know this is self centered also, but I don't mind other people dying at all. But when I think about myself actually dying I freak out. It used to be worse too, when I was little.

Death is usually an innate fear in humans. It helps survival and such.
I don't think I have a phobia, but I do have at least a slight fear of crowds.
