There isn't a sniper attack postition, there is: standing, prone, kneeling, sitting, and maybe one more but I forgot it. I think the position you are talking about is the standing position.

Anyways, my favorite gun that I have owned is my .22 mini barrel rifle. It has stainless bore but still a speck or two of rust on it, but what do you exepct for having it for 10 years and not really cleaning it well, eh? It's fairly accurate, and doesn't make much of a sound and doesn't kick at all. Only problem is, it is a single bullet gun so you have to reload after every shot. Prone position or sitting position is more comfortable for me, but I prefer to shot paper targets in standing postion to get my accuracy better.

I also like my dad's .22 hand gun. Sometimes instead of using it with my right hand, I use it with my left to get my accuracy better with my left eye and get use to shooting with both hands. I'm left handed, but I'm right eyed, so I shoot with my right hand more often than my left. And sometimes I shoot with only one hand with it.

I have a couple of compound bows, one I use more often than the other because it has more pull stength to it. I use standing position to shot with it... I'm not accurate with it much... hehe...

Speaking of which, I need to look for a hand gun for my b-day.

I won't pretend to know tons about guns, but it seems to me a .50 caliber hand gun would have way too much recoil to be very accurate. Therefore I question its usefulness beyond impressing other gun owners.

The recoil is a bitch. It is quite inaccurate, but I had it for a while an shot it often enough that I had some competence at it. I couldn't hit anything beyond acertain range, but at ranges where it may have come in handy, I would be okay.

Plus, it is just plain fun.

I prefer melee. But a kalashnikov would be good enough for me, or a normal airgun. =P unless we're talking about hand guns, of which i have almost no practical knowledge. XP
