A) I found some old thrift store tapes in a box that I forgot about. They're weird. One of them has Sugar Hill Gang, or "Group" as it's labled, a bunch of random Country, and some Disco on it, and this other one has Billy Joel, Pointer Sisters, Flying Lizards, and The Cars on it.

2. I got a nice start on cleaning up the patio for this free table I picked up a while back.

And... omg, look you guys, I have a patio!
True, it looks like the San Andreas Fault is running up the thing now, but at least it's clean and grass and plant free.
I'm sure I looked 6 kinds of bat-shit insane out there using my ShopVac to "vacuum" the patio, but it was the easiest way I could find to get the dirt out of the cracks after sweeping so I could grab hold of the grass and weed roots to pull them out. Also, I think this is the first time in about 20 years that all the bricks between the patio and porch have been visible. I still need to clear a little more grass and dirt away, pull them up and level the substrait out so they're nice and level, but this is good for now.

Double w00t, all the way, across the internets, all day today, right now, all the time!

While out walking this morning I found a dollar that had been washed pounded, pummeled and taped back together a thousand times. This thing was literally laminated with Scotch tape. And I was actually able to use it to buy a Friday paper.
And as if that wasn't enough, my glasses broke this afternoon, (right there where the top of the frame meets the bridge) and not only was I able to find my way to my to my to the opticians wearing my crappy old glasses, but I got new (okay, they're display frames) free! W000000000000000!
