What's Up: I'll be in Florida for a week starting Thursday

Visiting relatives, and visiting Disneyworld for the first time in my life. I know Disneyland like the back of my hand, but Disneyworld?

I am so looking forward to this trip.

Oh God dammit. I was gonna tell you that if you're gonna stay in/around Disney, The Best Western Lake Buena Vista is a really good hotel. They've got a great location close to Downtown Disney (shopping center), a great breakfast buffet and a good lunch/dinner menu, an awesome pool, and free shuttles to the parks. Just don't let your car (even if it's a rental) sit for too long. Move it every day. After sitting for a couple of days, mine got ants all up inside it.

Not your fault. Physics is a bitch. I would have got maybe 2/20. 11/20 is not bad for something like physics. Not everyone can master something like this unless you're Einstein or something. Don't be hard on yourself.

Only reassuring thing: I've got worse and anyway it's more than 10... Also, I made it before the holidays while now I've had a rest, so I'm more "woke up", my brains needed a break...

I loved Physics. So much so that I even had to take it twice! Okay, the first time I failed because of my class load and work. I couldn't get to and do the labs on time. The next semester, I only had a couple of classes, so I was able to get in and do all of the labs, and passed with... something. (idk, it was some time ago.)

Let's see I was on the phone with HP tech support for over an hour. I knew the guy was in India, he even confirmed it by telling me what time it was. India has a 30min difference with the rest of the world.

The guy was very pleased and suprised at how patient I was with him. His English wasn't great, but I am used to that.

Let's hope I can set an example. Being patient and friendly, even with support agents with thick accents pays off.

Yep, I spent some time this past week on the phone with the Tracphone people, getting Aunt Mary's phone going again. The girls I talked to tried... that is to say that they tried sounding American. They kept morphing back and forth between a midwest accent, and their own. lol. And yes, the phone is going again after sitting on a shelf for 3 years. I'm amazed the battery is still holding its week-long standby time. Gotta love them old Nokias.
