Cartman would be livid, not jealous. And he already worships Mel Gibson, who follows a more traditional and conservative form of Catholicism than the Church itself follows.

It's mighty gracious of the pope to let the Jews off the hook for something they may or may have done to someone who may or may not have existed.

If Cartman follows Mel Gibson, Cartman will start using a puppet to express his feelings. Oh wait, I almost forgot about Mitch Conner. Well... Mitch kind of wonders off, then another puppet comes on stage. Much like Garrison leaving Mr. Hat for Mr. Twig, but more platonically... so to speak.

Oh, I can see Trey and Matt writing the script for an episode about this for the upcoming season. THEY JUST HAVE TO DO IT NOW!

Hmm...I don't know if looking like a Nazi or looking like the Pope is worse...

Now I know what I'm wearing to my next Halloween party. I'm getting dressed up as Nazi Pope.

 You gave me this visual of him on all fours with a collar around his neck, growling and barking with God holding the leash. Good stuff.
