Since 2000 - or season 4. I didn't have cable TV before then, so I had some catching up to do. I thought Timmy was going to ruin everything, but fortunately, i was wrong.

First episode I seen was.. the first episode.
Didn't really start watching it til around season 4 though. I think it was 'Do The Handicapped Go To Hell?'.

Not having cable/satellite in the early years of South Park, I've been watching SP since episode 101 first aired on syndicated television, "Cartman Gets An Anal Probe" in the mid-2000s. It was highly edited for syndicated television, i.e., TV-PG instead of Comedy Central's TV-M. The syndicated shows showed the episodes in the same order that they originally aired on CC up until around the Mr. Jefferson episode, then they started again with 101.

i started watching south park after i first saw south park: bigger, longer, and uncut in 1999
Re: How long have you been watching south park?
Roughly a year and a bit. (I'm a newbie I know). Started watching on Viva. My friend said it was good and I would like it because I already watched Family Guy, The Simpsons and other shows like that.
My first episode was Rain-forest Schmainforest which made me laugh so hard that I nearly fainted. I really got into the show after seeing 'Red sleigh down'.
In the past year I've seen every episode know every character and am completely and utterly obsessed with the show.
(I'm a huge Stendy fan and I don't know why. I never used to like romance in cartoons but strangely I love it, I find it really cute

Germans seem to really like starting sh*t but it's cool 'cause its not like they ever win.

I saw a clip of "Chef's Chocolate Salty Balls" as a little kid before being told not to watch the show.
Years later, around Spring 2006, my friend Michael and I were screwing with his stepfather's DVR and watched a few assorted episodes: "Chef's Chocolate Salty Balls", "Cartman Joins NAMBLA", "Cartoon Wars Part I", "Cartoon Wars Part II" and "A Million Little Fibers".
The rest, as they say, is history.

South Park is a platform for Matt and Trey's social commentary and satire; there is no canon and these characters only serve as tools for self-expression. Don't get attached.

Re: How long have you been watching south park?
I've been watching since I was 8. At the time of Season 8. The first episode I remember watching was "Pre-School." I also remember seeing the South Park movie on a shelf at the store at like 6 years old and asking my mom for it, she said no haha.
Re: How long have you been watching south park?
I remember seeing 'Ladder to Heaven' years ago, probably not that long after it first aired. It found it so funny how these boys were doing all they could to get a ticket for tons and tons of candy while everyone else thought they wanted to see their dead friend again. Year later I saw 'Towelie' late one night and was lmao going 'wow! I can see why so many people love this show!'
I saw a few episodes years after this, tried getting into it but couldn't. Then late 2009 I saw an assortment of episodes and said 'this time I will try to get into it!' And well, I did.
I became excited when I saw season 14 would begin the next year so went and saw all the episodes, 3-4 a day, until that day came so I could be up-to-date with those who have been fans for way longer.
And that's my story.

I love: Stan, Butters, Cartman, Sharon.
I ship: Stan/Cartman <3
Stan: MMOOMM!!
Sharon: What is it honey? (gasp!) My baby's killed again!
Haa, I love that line.
